Character[]
This is a story about the country "Arsegios, the Azure Dragon" in Criareus, an "other world created by dragons" filled with the blessings of dragons. During a graduation party at his school, Alephard, the crown prince of Arségios, accuses his fiancée, the duchess Elena Ruthfett Forsythe, of bullying his classmate and "guardian dragon's beloved child," a commoner girl named Riffana, and demands that the engagement be broken off after he is condemned. He then condemns her and offers to break off the engagement.
At first, Elena was distraught, but her expression faded at the prince's rejection, and eventually she accepted the annulment and quietly left the banquet hall. However, during the party, there was someone who looked at her coldly and angrily. It was Alephaldo's "friend" (or "facilitator"), Eufran D'italiere Bailey. In fact, Eufran had been privately informed by Alephaldo that he had broken off his engagement to Elena. He had been told in advance by Alefaldo that he was to break off his engagement to Elena, with the outburst, "You can have that woman." Eufran, who had been serving Alephaldo by suppressing his secret feelings for Elena, was secretly enraged by the Lord's unkindness toward Elena, but secretly felt excited by his words. While helping Elena to leave the banquet hall, Eufran himself also leaves the place and returns home.
When Eufran returns home, his father announces that he will marry Elena and that she will be expelled from Arsegios as well. While the fathers are troubled by the reality that they have to expel their son, whom they do not hate, even if it is only for the sake of his role in the kingdom, Eufran is in a happy mood and says, "Now I can take my beloved Elena with me and get rid of the stupid King and his children! He sets off with Elena to a new land (the frontier of a neighboring country) through a relative who is a frontier count in a neighboring country. Through her relative's message, she is allowed to live in the wasteland that used to be a farm on the frontier.
In fact, Eufran had a special skill. It was his dexterity and his skill in processing the "dragon stone," the "stone for using magic" in this world. Eufran's Ditarière family was one of the descendants of the Bailey family, a lineage that "derives its power directly from the blessings of the dragon. For this reason, Eufran was able to process the magic circuit of dragonstone without any difficulty, which is impossible even for a professional craftsman. Using these skills, Eufran created ballpoint pens, soaps, tissues, hair dryers, and other products that had never existed in this world before. Eufran thought lightly, "If I use these skills, even if I am expelled from my country, I will have a job, so I will have no trouble eating.
However, Eufran thought that his new life with Elena, who was one of the country's top-class young ladies, would be difficult in a different sense, but Elena unexpectedly adjusted to life as a commoner. On the contrary, she started saying things like "patents" and "I was in charge of business strategy," which made no sense to me at all. And Elena even said boldly, "I will make you understand your value! Elena even said boldly, "I will make you understand your value!
Soon after, Elena was selling items necessary for her own life (or rather, home appliances, such as a freezer, a kotatsu, an air conditioner, etc.). She suggested to Eufran that he reproduce the items necessary for his daily life (freezers, kotatsu, air conditioners, etc.) using dragonstone, and they created a scheme to do business with the finished products (including royalties), which led to a lifestyle revolution centered on "Sergigios, the Ember Dragon" where they moved to. This led to a lifestyle revolution centered on "Sergigios, the Ember Dragon," where they moved.
At this time, Eufran did not yet know. She had awakened in her previous life and revived her memories of modern Japan after the crown prince broke off their engagement, and she was the "villainous daughter, Elena" from the online novel 'The Guardian Dragon's Beloved Child'. Eufran, who later learns of this from Elena, struggles day by day to twist the fate that awaits his beloved Elena by using his wits, inventing new things, and honing his political skills. This is the story of a man who, because of his misfortune, has achieved the greatest happiness.
He has a side-sided love for Elena, the crown prince's fiancée, but she keeps her feelings under wraps out of loyalty to the royal family. But thanks to the idiot prince's breaking off the engagement, she goes all out. In the timeline of the main story, she is the Ultimate Wife Baka, and she is unrestrained in her cheesiness. In his parents' home, he is the eldest of six siblings with an 18-year age difference, and is quite fond of children. He is especially adept with boys.
Abilities[]
"I want to work hard... To protect this happiness and Lana as the husband of the banished lady."
― Fran
The protagonist of this work. He is a young man with light red hair and red eyes, which gives off an air of a nobleman (in the web version, it is set to be a peach color with loose curls, but in the official visuals of the book and manga versions, it is a bright orange color that looks straight). He is the eldest son of Count Ditarière, who has held the position of chief justice for generations as a close associate of the royal family, but he is not a legitimate son (heir) due to the weak power of his "Bailey" bloodline. Nevertheless, he was in the service of the Alephaldo in this sense, as he needed to serve as his successor until his younger brother, who is more powerful, grows up and he also a dragon claw user. The dragon claw is very devastating technique, the three claw will released on the right shoulder of Fran and it has powerful strength, even it can destroy anything when it slash.
He has a talent as a Dragon stone crafter of dragonstone tools, which he creates by drawing magic circuits on dragonstones. Originally, he acquired this skill because the idiot princes threw it to Eufran after he had accepted a contract to develop a tool to solve her problems in order to "play nice" to the heroine (Riffana). Elena was furious when she heard the details and the blackness of the Alephaldo and the others from Eufran himself. Incidentally, Eufran's laxity of character was also his self-defense to prevent himself from making the stress caused by the Alephaldo's reckless behavior serious (i.e., to prevent himself from falling into self-imposed bondage). He even skilled marksmanship and good at martial arts combat.
In addition, because of this, at the beginning of the story, despite his outstanding talent, he actually has an abnormally low self-esteem and self-appraisal (mainly because he was used as an unappreciated sandbag by the crown prince and because he had a younger brother who was actually better than him, depriving him of the experience of being appreciated and enjoying successes). Therefore, he had a very detrimental way of thinking, "I understand tsundere for others beautifully, but only tsundere for myself, I accept tsun words at face value and eliminate the dere feelings".
Although he called himself a "scullery maid" when he was with the Alephaldo, he was actually assigned to various duties as the Alephaldo's shadow due to his role in the Bailey family. In particular, the coordination of diplomacy (coordination of the Alephaldo's schedule and movements during his tours, negotiations and negotiations with the other countries on various occasions, collection of information from each country, etc.) was the greatest task that Eufran was entrusted with at that time. The Alephaldo's overseas study tour after Eufran's disappearance was a messy schedule that caused a lot of trouble to the other countries (but the Alephaldo didn't care about such things, nor did they even notice).
Dragonstone (竜石)
A magical stone in this world. The origin is the scales that fell off a guardian dragon as it grew. The guardian dragon's dragon power (magic power) is contained within it, and the dragon power contained differs depending on the size of the stone (basically, the larger the stone is, the more dragon power it can use). The magic tool operated using the dragon power is called a dragonstone tool. |
Unblessing (加護なし)
A being that can repel or nullify the power of a "guardian dragon." In particular, they can nullify the power of the dragon stone, which is the crystal of the guardian dragon's power, and the blessings (magic) given to the nobles by the guardian dragon. Because of this, they are subject to discrimination and persecution (or fear, depending on the region) to varying degrees in each country. For this reason, they are said to be the opposite of the "guardian dragon's beloved child," who enhances the power of guardian dragons. In a sense, he is the opposite of the guardian dragon's beloved child, the "joker behind the dragon."
|
Later, he was appointed by the Germanic king as Fala's De'facto Guardian and given a title (in effect, forced upon her), and in public he goes by the name of Eufran Leiberg. He does not appear in the original novel "The Guardian Dragon's Beloved Child" (if he does exist, it is as a nameless mob character). Incidentally, his wife Elena speculates that her husband is "a 'factor' (a singularity or a point of reaction in the world constancy against the story's opportunism) that occurred in order to make the characters (and thus the author) consistent in bringing up things that are originally impossible in this world.
