Character[]
The main character of this work. A member of Bansou Sentai Kizuna Five. He calls himself "Red" as a nickname. He is 19 years old. In his original world, he ended up in a one-on-one duel with the boss of the enemy organization "Secret Society Zetsuender", "Insulation King", and was transferred to another world after his death. Knowing that there are people in trouble in this world, he became an adventurer to help people while searching for the reason why he was transferred to this world and how to return.
He says "bonds" and "bonds" at every opportunity, but a person who seems to be an additional warrior in the original world points out that he wants "bonds" more than anyone else because he is a lonely person who is hungry for bonding. He is a straight and hard-working young man who draws a picture of a hot-blooded man. He transforms into Kizuna Red using the Bansou plate. Every time he transforms, a huge explosion occurs behind him, and if he gets caught in it, ordinary people will take normal damage. Since he charred the items he dropped in quests every time, it became difficult for other adventurers to form parties with him, and as a result, he ended up penniless. In addition, he has various special moves such as Burning Kizuna Punch, and as his greatest secret, he can summon the giant robot Maximum Kizuna Kaiser.
His personality can be summed up in one word, "hot-blooded idiot". However, after finishing the adventure of 4 courses, he is not just an idiot, but also shows a glimpse of intelligence. He hates injections. He has a strong commitment to bonds and takes pride in being able to form bonds with anyone. On the other hand, Tertina pointed out that he fought alone against the enemy leader during the final battle, and someone who seems to be his former companion called him "a lonely person who hungers for bonds more than anyone else". Surprisingly, he doesn't seem to be interested in love affairs.
Connecting a magic tool to him while he's asleep replays the battle of the past, so his companions are often peeping into his mind without his permission.
6 years old |
─ A figure temporarily transformed into an infant by the “Never Dream Syndrome” privileged magic in volume 4, which was well received by Yidhra. She has lost more than 10 years of memories, but her personality is much the same as it is now. ─ Although he can transform into Kizuna Red in this form, he lacks a year's worth of combat experience, which is Tougo's greatest weapon, and his combat power is far inferior to that of his catalog specs. ─ Eventually, he was able to regain his memories through brute force, and even if his body was returned to that of a child through “forced regression,” he was able to instantly restore his original form by reconstructing it with his bond energy. |
Personality[]
"Just like how I was chosen to become 'Kizuna Red', there has to be some reason I was sent to this world. 'Til I find the reason I was sent here, I won't go back. Well, I don't know how to get back anyway! So if I can rescue people who need help and go on adventures at the same time, I'll be sure to find my reason for being here and how to get home!"
He used to be a high school boy, 19 years old (as of volume 4). He was 18 years old when he had just become Kizuna Red in his original world, fought against an evil organization (probably for about a year like the original family), and half a year had passed since his transfer to another world until he met Yidhra Arvoln in the first episode.
He is named “Tougo” because his parents wanted him to have a personality like a light where people can gather and feel safe, and “Asagaki” because they wanted him to be intelligent enough to understand the hearts of others.

He is a kind and passionate boy who values bonds and tries to work hand in hand with many people. He has the decisiveness to act on the spur of the moment, but he is also quick to make hasty decisions that often cause trouble for those around him. He is a legitimate hot-blooded idiot Red who is not afraid to help others or fight, is not good at injections or studying, cannot speak honorifics, tries to form bonds with others without losing heart no matter how many times they reject him, and often destroys materials and the environment, which is quite rare these days.
However, this is a Sentai Red. He is not only an idiot. He once skillfully intervened in a dispute between his seniors and a colleague who had fallen out with him. In battle, when he sees that an attack is not going to hit, he attacks with a surface attack, and when he sees a strong enemy (because he has no budget constraints), he does not hesitate to summon a giant robot for immediate action. He has a surprisingly high level of resilience and can follow up on abusive comments to his friends by talking about their virtues without blaming the speaker, and he can openly speak back to those who impose their selfish desires on him. He understands that there are ties on the enemy side as well, but he is adamant that if they cause people pain, they must be severed. Combined with his wild intuition to accurately assess the strength of his enemies, he is a strong and trustworthy Red when it comes to conflict.
Metaphorically speaking, since he is a Sentai hero after the last episode of the main series, he has had prior experience struggling with the above issues and friendly rivalry.
He is sensitive and has a sense of delicacy appropriate for his age, such as when he describes Yidhra as a beautiful woman when he blushes and leaves the bathroom immediately when he encounters her in the bathroom due to an accident, and when he is approached by Yidhra in a bathrobe, he involuntarily looks at her breasts. Incidentally, he had a crush on Tenri Nikaido, a.k.a. Kizuna Silver, in his former world, and her friends think that “Tougo likes beautiful big-breasted bokkie girls”.
Tenri calls him “lonely” and sees through his vocal desire for a bond because he is more hungry for it than anyone else. Perhaps because he has no good memories of someone taking a stand and protecting him, he reminds Rosy, who protected him, in a tone of voice that surprises Rosy, “Please don't do it again."
He lost his parents in a car accident when he was a child and was deeply traumatized by the mindless insinuations of his relatives, who did not want to take care of Tougo at their funeral. Furthermore, he lost his beloved Tenri in the battle with Zetsunder, and the more he awakened to the power of Kizuna Black, the stronger the trauma became. In other words, because of this past, he has a strong fear and despair of loneliness, and because of this, he has a strong attachment to his bonds and a strong hatred of enemies who would take them away.
His Relationship[]
In the first episode, there are recollections of bonding with the male members, tying omikuji at a shrine with Pink, and learning hard lessons from Yellow. However, it seems that he and Blue did not get along with each other immediately after the formation of the group. After the death of his parents, his father's friend Daigo Shindo's family took him in, and he became good friends with Kiyohiro Shindo, the eldest son of the Shindo family. Later, Kiyohiro was turned against by Professor Uragiris as a Vansou killer, and Kiyohiro's dark feelings had to be put to the test; he does not have good feelings toward Uragiris because of this experience.
Uragiris also does not have good feelings toward Tougo because of the hardships he suffered in his former world, and he is uncooperative when they meet again at the Subhuman Coalition. However, seeing the sub-humans who look up to Uragiris as a benefactor who saved them from a difficult situation, he has come to trust him not as Uragiris but as Dr. Tsugihagi, despite what he thinks of him.
In the current party, he is quite compatible with Yidhra. Yidhra's natural and rude attitude is balanced out by Yidhra's common sense, Yidhra's arrogance by Yidhra's friendliness, and Yidhra's ability to use recovery magic by Yidhra, who is often seriously injured and has no regard for herself.
Yidhra is also moved to tears when Tougo tells her that he will study “otherworldly transfer magic” to return her to his world. Yidhra also has a strong liking for Tougo, who honestly supports her and his dreams, and later comes to realize her fondness for Tougo.
Oddly enough, the above preferences of Tougo also apply to Yidhra, except for the “Boko” (boyish girl), and in volume 6, it is revealed that she had feelings for him from the beginning but had been suppressing her feelings because she felt guilty for not being able to protect Tenri. In the battle with Tougo Asagaki at the Bad End version, she decided to be honest about her feelings and awakened to her new form, “Burning Blood.”
Although he is royalty, he trusts Teltina Liz Wargray Avlrost, who does not mind Tougo's disrespectful attitude for the time he has known her, and they have a strong sense of mission in common. Although they have already bonded enough to ride the “Maximum Kizuna Kaiser,” they have been floundering at critical moments, so we look forward to further bonding in the future. He was initially in one-sided denial with Rosy Mist, who is also someone's hero, and their relationship temporarily deteriorated further when Tertina recognized Tougo, but they later reconciled. They formed a back-to-back bond.

Abilities[]
"The bonding of Atoms which creates all things, is also the power of all bonds!!
Kizuna energy is a Universal power, that rules over the creation of all things!!"― Prof. Petagoras said to Tougo Asagaki

Since it is set after the final episode, he has a lot of combat experience that makes it hard to believe that he was a former commoner, and he is incredibly strong. Its combat power is that of a small fry combatant ≒ a high-level monster. Or rather, in the first place, the enemies of tokusatsu are transcendental species that once swept the earth, dangerous groups that attacked from the other side of the universe, monsters that destroyed many worlds, and so on. There is no way they can become opponents if they show their true value, such as those who have only the level of control of wild animals in the special effects world and cannot control half of the local world with one force plus stray monsters.
- Kizuna Energy
- The energy source for Kizuna Five's equipment, including Red. It's completely different from magical power, but it doesn't seem to be a special power by any means, and even ordinary people other than Kizuna Five and people from different worlds have it. While it increases as the number of people gathers, it has a nature that is influenced by the bond between humans, for better or worse, such as repelling even if you bundle the energy if there is animosity in each other's hearts.
- In the theory of the Kizuna Five world, atomic bonds are also the power of bonds that bind together, and the essence of bond energy is a rather large thing called "the omnipotent power that controls the creation of all things." Suits and weapons are not taken out or summoned from somewhere, but created on the spot with bond energy.
- Emergency Kizuna Warp
- One of the functions of the Kizuna Breath. You can immediately rush to a friend in a faraway place by warp. As a principle, it seems that it uses the previously mentioned power of creation of bond energy and the nature of being attracted to each other when the bond is strong, and "disassembles the body to the atomic level once and reconstructs it at the partner's place".
- Originally, it can't be used without exchanging strong bond energy with each other. Still, by accidentally activating it while holding Mana Metal, there is some relationship between Mana Metal and Bond Energy.
"Yes?! In my original world, I was very popular with children!?
It's bright red and cool."― Asagaki Tougo to Yidhra Avorn
However, since all Sentai Heroes can do their best together, the enemies are purely strong, and they are far from matchless, and cooperation with allies is essential. Red has a feat of strength on his own even not using the transformation, he is a skilled combatant and even highly instinctive in battle, and because of this, he can predict the movement of the opponent.

In addition to combining, it can also be used alone when carrying out huge battles and life-size battles in parallel or when carrying monsters. Its size is about ten times that of a human, making it somewhat smaller than the source material. In the manga, it is sometimes referred to as "M Kizuna Kaiser (Mキズナカイザー)."

Great Bond Sword ). Kizuna energy is the driving force, and if there are few passengers, the initial energy is small, and it will not be able to move soon. The capacity is 5 people, and only Kizuna Five and friends who have bonded with them can board. There are many other restrictions (that are never stated in both manga and anime.)

It is believed to be the form of the reinforced protector in the original Super Sentai. Additionally, there is a final form that can be summoned by Kizuna Silver's Kizuna Beast, but it is currently unusable as only Kizuna Silver can call it. |
Kizuna Black[]

The hand behind Red. Transform using a slightly larger black bond armor (Despair & Rage). Normally, the set bond armor rotates and enters the transformation sequence (Black Bansou Plate), but this specification expands the fixture to cover the set location. In addition, a black bandage appears to block the surroundings as a countermeasure against transformation obstruction due to attacks from enemies during transformation. The Kizuna Black form gives him a massive boost in strength and draws out power well beyond his body's limits.
"Never Again... Never Again I let anyone's life be taken in front of me!!!"
― Tougo Asagaki (Kizuna Black)
The fighting ability was high at the time of red, but it is a tremendous thing that it is further improved. You can also attack by freely deploying bandages (Bandage Manipulation). There are techniques such as hitting with a huge fist made by hardening a large amount of adhesive plaster and hitting a bundle of adhesive plaster like a stake "Burning Pile Cut Bunker" in which he generates a giant pile-driver and slams a pile of industrial fire into his opponent (the name of the technique comes from the trade name of an adhesive bandage or the name for adhesive bandages in the Tohoku region, “cut bang”).
Above all, the battle itself does not require the power of bonds, so it can demonstrate its power alone. The source of that power is Tougo's fear of loneliness and attachment to bonds. Each part of his body is wrapped in several layers of adhesive bandages as if to seal unhealed wounds, and the radar horn on his head resembles an ogre's horn. His name is “Warrior of deep obsession that burns away (焼き尽くす深き執着の戦士)."
- Because it uses the darkness in its heart as its power, it is in an uncontrollable rampage mode, launching indiscriminate attacks against non-friends. In particular, the rate of increase in hate against enemies who attacked allies is amazing. He has the power to overpower two Demon Lord Army leaders in battle at the same time, but while wearing the plaster, he is so obsessed with his bond and so hateful toward those who would take it away that he goes out of control to the point of being blind to his surroundings. Dr. Tsugihagi, a.k.a. Uragiris, speculates that he is "tossed about by the unlimited bond energy produced by his obsession" and goes berserk.
- Roughly speaking, Zeruel behaves like the runaway first machine. Since it is a runaway mode, the biggest drawback is that you cannot cancel the transformation yourself. Therefore, using it is a last resort, and when using it, he asks Rosei to “stop it even if you have to kill him,” thinking about what happens if it goes out of control.
Red is shedding these the entire time he's transformed into Kizuna Black, as it channels his obsession with bonds, his despair, and his fear of loss into power he hopes will protect his loved ones. Later, Yidhra enchanted the Black Bonded Armor to pop when it was about to go out of control, and the Black Bonded Armor turned into the Burning Blood Bonded Armor when Burning Blood Awakening occurred.
- In his first battle with Abu Dhabi, he uses the power of black flames in his Kizuna Red state.
- In the parallel world, he appears as a normal warrior who is not in runaway form and is transformed by another person, such as Yidhra (in essence, Sentai Black in the original family).
- Incidentally, in the original Super Sentai, the runaway form of Sentai heroes often exists (there is a precedent for Sentai Red to fall into darkness, as well as for Sentai Red to become a black warrior).
Although the runaway form has a stronger image of another tokusatsu hero, there are examples of runaway forms due to mishandling or inability to use their powers.
Bad End Version[]
In volume 6, Uragiris uses a modified doppelganger, “Doppelanother” to copy Tougo Asagaki = Kizuna Red in a parallel world as a measure to defeat the Demon King. Since doppelgangers copy not only the appearance and abilities of their transformed counterparts but also their memories and personalities, he is the same Tougo Asagaki of the parallel world, except that he is a copy person. In all world lines, it is common that Yidhra is an important person for them. The original story, or rather the groove, is completely Spider-verse.

Tougo Asagaki (BAD END VER.)
One of the Tougo Asagaki is on the world line (Bad End
), where he lost all his friends, including Yidhra, after the betrayal of Uragiris, who was on the side of the Demon Kings. Doppel Another Prototype #1, which had been frozen and sealed due to its danger.
"I vow my vengeance for the death of my loved Yidhra, to kill Betrayiss."
― Asagaki Tougo (BAD END)
He is a vengeful demon who is determined to destroy the seal by force and escape, and to eliminate the Uragiris, and will not hesitate to eliminate them with an overwhelming attack if they get in his way. On the other hand, he is only holding back and restraining Yidhra, whom he holds dear. Unlike the original Kizuna Black, he can completely control the power of Kizuna Black because his heart has been broken and worn out.
Although he is aware that this world is slightly different from his original world, he is more afraid of the death of his beloved Yidhra than anyone else, and his guilt has turned him into an extremely dangerous person who will crush any chance of death.
His reality is not from the future, but Kizuna Silver "Tougo Asagaki" in the world line where Tenri Nikadou did not exist. In that world, Rosy is a woman named Rosina, and Amen died in the battle against the Demon King 1,000 years ago and did not exist (it is speculated that Uragiris did not cooperate with the heroic party, so the holy sword was not developed, and Silver was not there, so Amen was most likely killed in battle due to lack of strength). In the original world, the Uragiris were hostile to the Demon Lords as a heroic party by Tenri, and this is why the Uragiris did not remember themselves in the accusations of Tougo in the bad ending.
As an aside, the setting of “fought multiple evil organizations” and the use of “all things are resolved” may be from the read-aloud version of the world line described below (highly likely in that the replacement is a female knight, considering Rosy's true identity).
He was defeated by Kizuna Red, who awakened to his new form, Burning Blood, and heard about the existence of Tenri, who was not in his former world. He finally realized that this world and his world are fundamentally different, and, by overloading his body, his transformation was undone, and he returned to his original doppelganger form.
The reason why he was noticed as a doppelganger was because of the peculiarity that he was fighting with Lurgat, Elmario, and Kraigan, who would not normally be his friends. He lost everything and was copied with his obsession to eliminating Uragiris.
