Synopsis[]
In the harsh region known as the borderlands, humans must fight an endless battle against demi-human creatures that come at them relentlessly, intent on taking their land and their gods. A young boy named Kai, fighting to defend his village, sustains a life-threatening injury that causes him to regain memories from a past life. If you're not a guardian bearer, it's like you're playing life on hard mode... Kai's newfound knowledge gives him a new sense of the unfair "rule set" that governs the world around him. One thing is clear: For those without a god to serve as their guardian, life is a constant struggle for survival. Thus begins the epic tale of a young boy's ascent into a vast world filled with magic, bloodshed, and mystery.

Character[]
The protagonist of this work. He lives in the remote village of Lag, where he lives in a difficult communal life with all the men. He is 13 years old at the beginning of the story. He is from another village and is in the lower ranks of the village. He works hard in the severe food situation, doing farm work, gathering food in the forest, and fighting against the invasion of subhumans (demi-human creatures).
Starting with the knowledge and insight he gained from the memories of a boy who knew things so well in his previous life, he gained the discovery and development of “magic,” the powerful blessings of the gods of the valley deep in the forest, the belief of friendly sub-humans, and the pecking order in the village, among many other things.

Abilities[]
"Teach them with blood! Instill them with fear!"
― Kai hearing the voice of the valley god
During the battle with the Sub-humans (demi-human creatures "Orc"), starting with the knowledge and insight he gained from the memories of a boy who knew things so well in his previous life and he gained the discovery and development of “magic (Shu)
,” the powerful blessings of the gods of the valley deep in the forest. Until an incident led him to become a Guardian Bearer, a vessel of the God of Arbitration who rules over the Valley.

Following his elevation to the position of Valley Guardian Bearer
, Kai's strength and endurance exceeded that of a Sub-human. Even though he could sense every move his opponents made and choose a clear personal course of action during the battle, Kai's instincts reached a new peak when he was appointed Guardian Bearer. He even enhanced his vision to see well in the dark, even Kai's eyes were able to see the incoming fists. The physical abilities of those who possessed the Guardian Bearer were indeed raised to an astonishing level. Still, when it came to the quality of their Eyes, the grace given to Kai was at an astonishing level. Kai had superhuman strength comparable to the Black Kite had inhuman strength, who consumed God's stone. Kai acquired the "Kumadori,
" a shrine crest that symbolizes the Guardian Bearer. The user's body's strength and senses are enhanced by this unleashed crest.
When the crest depletes the Black Kite user's energy when activated, prolonged use can lead to weariness. Kai's condition as Guardian Bearer prevents him from feeling tired during his activation. As a protector, he is connected to the unexplained, unbreakable cube steles that are buried in the tree and bear inscriptions of unknown knowledge. Kai gains more power by saying prayers on the cube steles. One of the feats of Valley Guardian Bearer is to absorb other blessings, either consuming the soul or the God's Stone. If Kai doesn't absorb any God's stone, the valley
can replenish his spirit energy by dipping into the valley's water.
After defeating the "Orc Lord" and absorbing his god's stone, Kai gained eyesight 《
Kai has a fresh understanding of the unjust "Rule set
" that controls the world around him as a result of his newfound knowledge. This world's Rule Set covers something as basic as "cell activation." It functions similarly to healing magic, but instead of using a touch, its user's body activates the cells in their own or another person's body, speeding up healing and regeneration. By applying repulsive force, creating a blade of energy, creating a Sword of Light (WN), and subtracting between molecules in the gap binding, with scientific knowledge, one has been able to "rule set" in this world and control every molecule in the body.
- In the anime version, Kai created an invisible sword from the very concept of "cutting"; it can cut the electrostatic bonds that hold molecules together.
Kai has trained in Lag Village by the Zula-Ryu technique style, which is a form of martial arts using a weapon of staff or spear bearing the name of the ancient mercenary King Zula. It consists of sidestepping as if drawing a circular footwork in this fighting style technique is suited for the terrain in the borderlands, but Kai is also skilled in using knives, using the Zula-Ryu martial arts.
