Tenkuu no Shiro wo Moratta node Isekai de Tanoshiku Asobitai (天空の城をもらったので異世界で楽しく遊びたい, I Want To Play Happily Because I Got The Heavenly Castle.) is a Japanese light novel series written by Inoue, Mitsuru. Originally published via the novel posting website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in April 2018, the series was later acquired by Micro Magazine, which began publishing the series in print with illustrations by Yuzuki Hirai. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Hiiro Akikaze, began serialization on the Niconico-based web manga platform Comp Ace in April 2019.
Synopsis[]
An angel made a mistake, resulting in Shiihara Daiki’s death. In order to hide the mistake, he was then sent to a different world. The angel will grant him one wish as a payment for keeping it a secret. Daiki asked for a Heavenly Castle floating in the sky without hesitation.
Suddenly a floating castle appeared in the new world, which causes confusion amongst the people. They attempt to contact Daiki in various ways. A country tries to steal it by force, while another seeks to befriend him. What in the world would Daiki do?

Character[]
The protagonist of this work. After suddenly dying due to a mistake made by an angel in determining the dead, they were resurrected in another world by the goddess and wished to have a castle in the sky, which they truly received. Having lived a busy life in their original world, they enjoyed each day like a Sunday. However, after a few weeks of excessive leisure and feeling increasingly lonely, they reached the continent, where they commanded A-1 to rescue a woman named Eila, who was being pursued, and kindly welcomed her, listening to her circumstances and recruiting her as a resident of the sky castle.
After roughly noticing that the Blau Empire was eyeing the sky castle, they desperately memorized the castle's functions for the safety of its residents. After the incidents in the empire were resolved, they were guided by a spirit tree in the land of the elves and decided to head to the Kark Kingdom to find a way to erase the slave mark based on the spirit tree's revelation. Having lived alone for a long time in the original world, they are good at cooking.

The protagonist, who died due to an angel's mistake, is resurrected in another world and receives a massive castle and a flying island that supports it as a wish from the angel. The motif is presumed to be Laputa from "Castle in the Sky" (the design resembles that of the animation Laputa). Daiki has a strange Magic power that has never been seen or felt in the new world, as stated by Yuri. When she touches the hand of Daiki to observe how big Magic Power (Mana) he has, she knows that Daiki's Magic power (Mana) isn't ordinary.
Daiki is Average in Commanding and tactical planning in something. It only good given traits to him is a good at cooking and also able good at managing things in his castle. After he was killed and given a benediction of [The Spirit Tree of Euprosyne], it became easy to control his power and he was granted a 「Disruption Spell」 by the goddess. To the equilibrium law of the world, Daiki's reincarnated 「Disruption Spell」 can nullify any type of spell. But he still needs a magic tool to amplify his mana to be able to use it.

It seems that the animation left a deep impression on the protagonists when they were young. Inside the castle, there is a vegetable garden and a meat cultivation facility, where meat is produced through genetic cultivation, and small iron golems are farming in the garden. The castle is equipped with almost all facilities, and all the game consoles, computers, and books that the protagonist had in their previous life are preserved in the protagonist's room. The internal facilities are made up of over-technology that surpasses modern standards, while the basic facilities maintain modern standards. The castle itself is protected by a powerful barrier, making it impossible for dragons to attack, and numerous humanoid iron golems, including A-1, are stationed inside.

The functions of the castle can be operated by the main computer, and only the protagonist, Shihara Daiki, has system operation authority. The system panel language of the castle is in Japanese and English, so no one other than Daiki can understand it. Even a camper and construction equipment are present inside the castle, allowing for building construction on external land using the construction equipment. Daiki Shiihara owned a Flying castle with various modern technology on it. It has an Automatic Defense Barrier that is 24/7 active any form of enemy hostile never reaches the castle and even the glass is unbreakable even used by force or a magic spell.

Daiki can engineer a new type of system like stealth mode in the drone (robot), remodel some devices in the Castel in the sky, and even create another operated machine (like a vehicle). For example, Daiki remodeled the watch into a command control able to control the drone, identify the information of the object, defensive shield, and a functional system that unlock any doors.

A1 (えーわん)
The protagonist Daiki's direct subordinate, the Iron Golem. While it moves autonomously, it fundamentally operates according to Daiki's commands. Among the Iron Golems, including A-1, their entire body is made of solid metal, making them impervious to attacks with swords, and they also possess offensive capabilities, such as firing energy blasts from their hands. Additionally, they can fly, allowing them to rescue and transport people in danger. However, they are weak against fire magic; when hit by it, they experience system shutdown due to overheating and cannot move until they cool down. Daiki was completely unaware of this weakness and only realized it after experiencing it during an imperial infiltration. During the invasion of the imperial castle, there was no time for modifications, so as a workaround, they compensated for the weakness by using a farming golem without attack functions to dissipate heat. Among the Iron Golems, A-1 has the highest significance and also serves as a guide, informing about the rescue and guidance of Eila, as well as how to use the facilities. |
