So I'm a Spider, So What? (蜘蛛ですが、なにか, Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?) is a Japanese light novel series written by Okina Baba and illustrated by Tsukasa Kiryu. The series has received a manga adaptation, and an anime television series adaptation has been announced.

The world where the Hero and the Demon King continue to oppose each other. The grand magic from the Hero and the Demon King cross over worlds and exploded in the classroom of a certain high school.
The students who died in the explosion will be reincarnated in a different world. The protagonist, who had the lowest reputation in the class, was reincarnated into a spider. Nevertheless, she adapted quickly to the present condition with strong willpower.
This is a story of she who has become a spider trying whatever she can to live.

Web Novels[edit | edit source]
Okina Baba originally serialized the novels as a web novel on the user-generated content site Shōsetsuka ni Narō starting on May 27, 2015.
Light Novels[edit | edit source]
Kadokawa Shoten acquired the series for print publication, and published the first light novel, with illustrations by Tsukasa Kiryu, in December 2015. Yen Press announced during their panel at Sakura-Con on April 15, 2017 that they had licensed the series.
Manga[edit | edit source]
Asahiro Kakashi launched a manga adaptation of the light novels in the Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace Up manga website on December 22, 2015. The manga is also licensed by Yen Press.
Anime[edit | edit source]
It was reported on July 6, 2018 that the series would receive an anime adaptation, according to an early look at the wraparound jacket band on the fifth volume of the manga adaptation. The report was confirmed at Kadokawa's booth at Anime Expo later the same day, and it was announced that the adaptation would be a television series. The series is produced by Jōtarō Ishigami.
