Tama (タマ)
One of the protagonist of this work. A juvenile form of the S-rank monster "Behemoth". In his previous life, he was a knight who fought monsters in dungeons and lost his life in a battle with a demon tribe. Behemoth was originally a huge monster, but as a juvenile, it has the cute appearance of a kitten with a brown tiger pattern. An honest knight, he still chooses to fight monsters and explore the labyrinths even after his reincarnation. In the midst of his quest, he encounters an earth dragon, which is equal to or greater than a behemoth, and he manages to escape with his life, but he runs out of strength. However, he is picked up by Aria, an elf swordsman, who gives him a narrow escape and names him “Tama. He feels indebted to Aria and decides to be loyal to her as a former knight, designating her as his "master." Since people around him mistake her for an "elemental cat," a cat that uses magic, he takes advantage of this misunderstanding to avoid being identified as a behemoth. Although he is able to use the powerful powers that come from behemoths, he refrains from using anything other than magic so that his true identity will not be revealed. |
