Synopsis[]
After reincarnating in a different world, the great sage Ephtal spent his life researching magic. However, he who had aimed to reach the summit of magic, knew of the limits of his talents and fell into despair, thus closing the curtain to his lifetime.

Character[]
The protagonist of this work. He is a man who is aiming for the pinnacle of magic and he has been reincarnated twice in the past, the first time ending his life in a different world from the one he is in now, and reincarnating in the current world as Ephtal, the eighth son of an impoverished noble family. He went on to become a magician, and as a sage, he helped the brave heroes defeat the Demon King. For his achievements, the king bestowed upon him the title of "Emperor of Thunder," and together with the three wise men who also helped him defeat the Demon King, he became known as the "Four Emperors". However, he was unable to reach the pinnacle of magic that he had been striving for, and, upon discovering that he had no aptitude for magic, he ended his second lifetime in despair.
However, through the skill of "reincarnation," which he received from the goddess during his first reincarnation, he was reborn again. This time, he lives 400 years after the world he is in, and as a four-year-old child, a descendant of his own. He is reborn with the knowledge and power he had before he was born, and he strives to reach the peak of his magical abilities this time. The former Sage of Wind, Ephtal is a reincarnated human, coming from modern Earth and reincarnated in a new world where magic is real, he decides to devote the entirety of his life to the pursuit of absolute magic. Despite his efforts, though, he discovers that he is talentless in magic because of being a colorless attribute, but because of his perseverance in pursuit of magic, he can master other magic spells because of being a colorless attribute. Later, after defeating the demon king, he gained the title of "Emperor Storm Gale". Because of his effort, he can still reach the pinnacle of magic, one of these being a chantless mage. Ephtal can cast a spell on only his mind, and he is the only Quadruple Mage (Level EX Magic) in the series.
Due to being obsessed with magic, Ephtal, in his previous life as a Sage, created spells, a grimoire, Magic research, and unbeatable knowledge that was used for 400 years. Ephtal has a secret side of his when the battle becomes intense; Ephtal completely changes his personality and becomes chaotic in the fight while smiling, this changes of his become more brutal to his opponent.
