Izayoi Sakamaki, Asuka Kudou, and You Kasukabe are extraordinary teenagers who are blessed with psychic powers but completely fed up with their disproportionately mundane lives—until, unexpectedly, each of them receives a strange envelope containing an invitation to a mysterious place known as Little Garden.

Inexplicably dropped into a vast new world, the trio is greeted by Kurousagi, who explains that they have been given a once-in-a-lifetime chance to participate in special high-stakes games using their abilities. In order to take part, however, they must first join a community. Learning that Kurousagi's community "No Names" has lost its official status and bountiful land due to their defeat at the hands of a demon lord, the group sets off to help reclaim their new home's dignity, eager to protect its residents and explore the excitement that Little Garden has to offer.

Character[]

The main character of this work. A 17-year-old boy who is one of the problem children invited to the world of Little Garden since the 2000s. His maiden name was Saigo. His parent is the creator of the third perpetual motion machine, the nanomachine "Third Class Astral Particle Body", and Homura Saigo is his younger brother. He was wearing headphones with a flame mark from Homura's “Crescent moon” series, but they broke in Part 1 Volume 3.

A hero who obtained the power of the third perpetual motion machine to prevent the world from being destroyed by the hands of a nation or organization that acquired the development method of the third perpetual motion machine. If you save the world indirectly, save it as a developer of the third perpetual motion machine, and if you save the world directly, save it as a test subject of the third perpetual motion machine. In the case of Izayoi, it is the latter, and the source of the stellar particle body is embedded in the fetus.

Originally, he was not supposed to come to Hakoniwa and even have a connection with Kintojaku, so he was supposed to be born in the future, but due to the interference of the former "No Name" in human history, his birth time changed greatly, and Kintojaku and others became new. When he tried to create a group of gods and support "original candidates", he dug up the possibility of Sakamaki Izayoi. He became mankind's "original candidate" amid that interference. Kinhijaku calls his existence the “Last future of Embryo” and describes him as the strongest “original candidate”. The person himself says it's a coincidence, but Croix believes that only a human named Sakamaki Izayoi has the potential to save the world in some way. It is said that it was chosen as an original candidate because it had such a shape, and the law of cause and effect is reversed in Izayoi's bounty. A boon is blessed because it is promised to save the future, not a boon obtained for saving the past. At the stage when it was decided that Izayoi could be summoned to the miniature garden, Homura Saigo was created as a spare and agent of Gyakukai Izayoi to correct history.

Because of his life in the "Canary Family Home", he takes care of younger people, and dislikes being wielded with great power over weak beings like children. Only unconditionally kind to those who cannot stand up for themselves, such as those who are socially weak or those who are socially in a bad position. Even among the elite "no-names" in close combat, it has outstanding fighting ability. In battle, he always puts himself on the front line and tries to protect his comrades, but in addition to worrying about his comrades, it also stems from his inability to trust them to moves and throw objects at the speed of the third universe, fists with the physical strength to crush mountains and rivers, nullifies all benefits other than physical interference, a strong body that can withstand attacks that would normally cause instant death, and the power to crush stars. It can display multiple powerful powers, such as emitting a pillar of light, but Izayoi still hasn't fully mastered "unidentified", and even the aforementioned power is only a part of her original power. it is revealed. He has received various gifts, including Mizuki seedlings, which are mostly provided as shared materials for the community. The gift card was only used to carry Mizuki's seedlings and to evacuate Snow White.

In terms of intelligence, he is one of the top class members of "No Name" and is in the rank of Jin's staff, and with that knowledge, he is often the first to reach the secrets of the Little Garden and the clearing conditions of the gift game. He is quick to calculate risks, but he is willing to take a certain amount of risk to enjoy the gift game.

When he was a baby, he was kidnapped by Kinshijaku and left anonymously in a children's facility, where he was tormented by the world's conflicts due to his too-powerful grace and was forced to live a life of loneliness and doubts about his monstrous nature. He visited 24 welfare facilities and 31 adoptive parents and was arrested 21 times for the cover-up crime of the adopter. He met Kinitojaku when he played a game where he was betting on and became an adopted child. After being adopted by Kinitojaku, he traveled around the world, eventually being invited to the "Canary Family Home" that Kinitojaku made for Izayoi. After the death of Kinshijaku, she participates in the last game left in her will and finds the answer, but battles in the space created by Croix Baron as a "bonus stage", and finally Destroyed the space with a pillar of aurora and escapes. He then wakes up and decides to go to the Little Garden of his own accord, opening his invitation and being summoned to the Little Garden. 19 years and 9 months in the second part "Last Embryo". As a qualification to participate in the Second Solar Sovereignty War, he has a lion in his hand and has become a body that cannot be cut with a knife, but he has only three months left as a minor, which is the qualification to participate.

The author cites him as one of the characters that are easy to move, and he is particular about the lines. The color of the gift card is cobalt blue.

Abilities[]

"Not taking the initiative to secure your future but just waiting for luck to come your way, wasn’t that just the definition of being lazy?"

Sakamaki Izayoi

It has been stated that Izayoi is a very competent fighter and also has amazing reflexes and potential. Saurian Demon King once remarked that Izayoi had the potential to be an experienced martial artist with his skills. In Last Embryo 2, when Bull Demon King managed to smash Izayoi with a pole, Izayoi immediately blocked and kicked it off his hands timely. Izayoi also showed an arm-locking technique when he tried to pin Bull Demon King to the ground and near the end of the fight, he threw Bull Demon King away by grabbing his horns, making him crash into several maze wall layers, Bull Demon King remarked that he didn't expect Izayoi finally got some martial art skills. Up to now, it's still unknown how Izayoi got them after 3 years of timeskip but it's implied Kouryuu may have taught him.

Izayoi is incredibly intelligent. He has created plans to help the No Names in both battle and commerce. Izayoi has shown that he is knowledgeable in religions, fairy tales, and mythologies, having easily identified the [Perseus] artifacts, solved the riddle of the Pied Piper of Hamlin, and identified constellations and asterism. When Izayoi is left behind to stall for time against Azi Dakaha, Asuka remarks that without him, they cannot even come up with a proper plan of attack.

「GIFT」
Code: Unknown》 - Not much is known about his ability as the Gift Card, a fragment of Laplace, could not categorize his ability and so named it [Code: Unknown]. Despite this, he seems to know his power well, being able to gauge whether or not he can take an opponent. He can defeat those blessed with [Divinity] such as a water god and Weser, deflect a lance attack from the weakened Leticia, stop a sword attack from Laius, who is a descendant of the hero Perseus, with one finger, and defeat the Kraken and Graea sisters, monsters that appeared in the legend of Perseus, with ease. Many people who have seen him fight have realized that his power is capable of destroying gifts. Black Rabbit also stated that his gift has the power to destroy heaven and earth, and later with a statement by Baron that it could even destroy the stars. This is shown during his battle with Algol and Black Percher, where he easily deflected their attacks. The force he emits behind his strength and speed is described in the Light Novels to be of the Third Cosmic Velocity or even faster than that.
  • Supernatural Strength: This seems to be the main function of Izayoi's Gift as it grants him immense strength. He uses his strength to throw objects at the 'Third Cosmic Velocity', run on walls by digging his feet into them, and even compress Leticia's lance into a ball by simply punching it. Back when Izayoi fought Baron La Croix before he got summoned to Little Garden, Izayoi could lift the entire building and throw it at him with no effort. In Volume 4, Izayoi easily defeated an army of Celtic Titan. Izayoi also could keep up with Saurian Demon King in Volume 5, as both of them neatly matched against each other though it was quite difficult for Izayoi because at that time he still didn't have martial arts skills. When Izayoi knew His Highness was the one that injured Black Rabbit, in anger he beat him so violently that His Highness couldn't protect himself for a moment before his company came to save him. In Volume 7 both Izayoi and His Highness got a re-match at the Kouen City, His Highness admitted that Izayoi was stronger than him even though that Izayoi didn't feel any different from the powers of their fists. The punches of Izayoi were strong enough to destroy mountains and rivers, split the oceans or seas, on par with planetary crustal movement, and even shake the stars. As seen in Volume 8 when he has thrown hundred of punches that could shake stars on Azi Dahaka at the Third Cosmic Velocity, thus overwhelming him for a short amount of time before he put up his Aurora Pillar.
  • Enhanced Perception: Izayoi possesses an exceptional sixth sense, easily signaled out Fores Garo's henchman in Episode 3 and Leticia's presence when she was hiding outside the window in Episode 4.
  • Supernatural Speed: His speed is said to be on par with Black Rabbit, who is mentioned to be part of the fastest species in Little Garden. However, his speed is different from hers as he is able to retain that speed as shown when he blocked an attack meant for Black Rabbit, returns her safely to a rooftop and proceeded to return to fight Black Percher. He was fast enough to leave his afterimages, as seen in volume 5 when battling the Saurian Demon King and in volume 6 when chasing the Demon King of Confusion at Kouen City. If Izayoi were to put his full strength behind his every step, the residential structures that weren’t stable enough would most likely be blown away.
  • Supernatural Durability: Izayoi is rather durable, being the only one out of the three problem children to not need a Gift of Protection to survive his fights and take on powerful attacks without being injured. It took Weser to double his power and possessing [Divinity] to only injure Izayoi and even then the injury did not even slow Izayoi down. However, his durability isn`t invincible, he's shown to be rather weak against bladed weapons wielded by a strong enough individual, and he suffered quite a bit during his fight against Saurian Demon King. In his battle with Azi Dakaha, Izayoi was stabbed through his abdomen and had his organs punctured. It should be noticed that when Izayoi's Aurora Pillar made contact with Azi Dahaka's [Avesta], he barely survived the force of impact, though Azi Dahaka later explained that their powers canceled each other out so that Izayoi could survive the blast. After his fight against Azi Dahaka, all the bones and the muscles in his body were minced.
  • Supernatural Stamina: During the fight with Azi Dahaka, although Izayoi received a lot of injuries and therefore his stamina almost ran out after the fight with His Highness, he was still able to fight with every bone and muscle in his body almost completely chopped up and crushed. Izayoi was the first one that hold back Azi Dahaka for the others to run away even though he was already on the verge of his death.
  • Supernatural resistance: Based on his ability that allows him to negate and destroy Gifts, Izayoi has resistance to supernatural powers. Several examples include when Izayoi was totally immune to Ratten's mind control music in volume 2, Baron placed a Death Curse on Izayoi but it never took hold of him in volume 3, and when Demon King of Confusion stopped time in all of Kouen City and its residents, but Izayoi was completely unaffected in volume 6.
  • Aurora Pillar (fanmade name) - A power that revolves around creating a light construct in the shape of a small pillar which then enlarges to the point of reaching skyward, he then swings it at his enemy. This is the true manifestation of Izayoi's power to destroy Gifts. Its power could defeat Divine Spirits, eliminate all of the stars in the night sky, and annihilate everything in the material world. He has used it for four times: to destroy the pocket dimension Baron La Croix created, to destroy the huge dragon's heart, in his fight against Azi Dakaha - when the Aurora Pillar made contact with the [Avesta] created a vortex with power comparable to the collision between stars that could destroy All Creation and their clash reduced more than half of a volcano peak to nothing more than subatomic particles, the force unleashed from Aurora Pillar capable of absorbing the light of the stars and pierce through the veil of Little Garden, and finally in Volume 11 with the help from Baron La Croix, he erased Maxwell Demon Lord by his Aurora Pillar with only one shot. His Highness described it as "Another Cosmology", the secret techniques of the pantheons of Gods to construct their worlds - universes. Izayoi also made a compliment by himself that his Aurora Pillar is the shape of a possessing cosmology of humanity. It has been hinted from Volume 2 when Izayoi managed to unleash his full power against Black Percher after she mocked Izayoi that he didn't have enough strength to destroy stars but Black Rabbit stopped him due to the plan and in Volume 5, during the fight between him and Saurian Demon King that if Izayoi used this trumpcard, he would not be able to control it enough to let Saurian survive the hit, it also should be noted that when Izayoi put up his Aurora Pillar even Azi Dahaka got shocked after saw it and he had to activated his [Avesta] to counter him, making the Aurora Pillar is extremely powerful and very dangerous even for the strong Demon Lords. Only the like of His Highness or Azi Dahaka in which they also possessed "Another Cosmology" like Izayoi could match against his Aurora Pillar.
  • Grass Bracelet - A bracelet made of grass. It gives the owner the ability to talk to griffins. Sala gave this to Izayoi to let him communicate with Gry during the assault upon the huge dragon in the Underwood arc.
Sun Authority: Leo
  • Sun Authority of Leo, is one of the twelve constellations. Protected by the Nemean lion, the model for Leo, it bestows constant bounty on its wielder, making it impervious to all slashing attacks. Even if it is something that cuts mountains, cuts off seas, and splits the sky, the grace of Leo is repelled without problems.
  • To surpass this concept, the bounty of the stars is similarly hidden, and the bounty of decisive bounty or the bounty of celestial spirit killing is indispensable. Since there is no lore related to the sun in Izayoi, it is impossible to draw anything other than constant blessings.
  • In Volume 10 of Part 1, it is transferred from His Highness at the time of the decisive battle with Azi-Dakaha. With this sovereignty over the sun, he received the pseudo-goddess Sanskrit Spear with his body and pierced the heart of Azi-Dakaha.
Blood Accelerator (B.D.A)
  • Stretchable gloves for the right hand, back-of-hand type BDA. It circulates the "star particles" in the body at a constant speed. When used, the particles exceed the limit of the material world, the "definition of one second", and begin superfluidity within the body.
  • In particle body research, the "definition of one second" is replaced by the frequency of 32.768 kHz, which is mainly used for clocks, and the "star particle body" responds to this "definition of one second" and changes the internal pathways of the parasitic organism. It rotates about 330,000 times at a constant speed. Izayoi, who carried the "Stellar Particle Body" from her fetus, has a well-developed blood circuit, and if she uses her own body as an external accelerator, she can obtain explosive power, and even Parasurama cannot react. You can demonstrate speed and strength enough to block a blow from Hercules' baton with one hand. It can also consume other people's particle bodies in an instant.
  • Override with Another Crown
    • Words spun as keys. It transforms its whole body into particles, becomes an astral, and advances at the speed of light, which is the sixth cosmic speed. The light emitted from the whole body converges on the right arm. The blood circuit is filled with star particles, and the inside and outside of the human body are separated from the concept of time. Heartbeat and blood rush to the limit, and a phenomenon called pseudo-luminescence envelops Izayoi.
Sanskrit Spear (Brahmastra Replica)
  • Indra's spear, which is summoned from the "Paper Fragment of the Epic Poetry Mahabharata" and is enshrined in the Divine Protection of Taishakuten and clad in heavenly thunder. Taishakuten's Divine Spear contains the <Gift> of victory that Karna received in exchange for the Sun Armor. Appears with a thunderclap and flashes of lightning. Because of its strength, it can only be used once during the Gift Game.
  • A divine spear with a one-hit victory, created by Taishakuten, the head of the Twelve Guardians, and Brahma, the supreme deity of Indian mythology, who is the leader of the Twelve Guardians. Since it is a replica of the "pseudo creation star chart" born from the concept of a pair of Sanskrit that worships Taishakuten and Brahma as a pair, it has the cosmology of "fire worship". This is a replica of the Black Rabbit, and although it doesn't match the original ability, it has the benefit of infinitely emitting the amount of energy necessary to defeat the opponent it penetrates.
  • A penalty is given to the user when used at the same time as "Pseudo-Epic ─ Nitten Armor". This boon entails the fate of "defeating those who pierce it", but it has the weakness of not being able to demonstrate its full power against opponents that cannot be stabbed. The second part "Last Embryo", is lent by Black Rabbit in a constantly summoned state.

A short, sleeveless 14-year-old girl who is one of the problem children. She has been invited to the world of Little Gardens since the 2000s and a little later, and she has a sense of purpose to increase the number of friends of all races. For that reason, she shows a high degree of interest in the creatures of the miniature garden and takes the initiative in participating in gift games where she has the opportunity to come into contact with phantom beasts.

Personality is wild and free. She doesn't hide what she's thinking, she's honest about what she wants to do, and she learns to come to terms with those around her. She is mild-mannered and seldom gets angry, but she becomes enraged when No Name, Glee, or Sarah are insulted. She is also an undeniably gluttonous eater, single-handedly destroying the food pantry of the Ropponkizu community.

His father is a sculptor and his mother is a biologist. Even in an age when science and technology have advanced and humans have become omnipotent, she has declared an incurable disease and spent a long time in the hospital. During that time, she was looking forward to the story of his father, Takaaki's miniature garden, and at the same time, she grew to yearn for the outside world that appeared in the story. When he was eleven years old, his father gave him a wood carving, and he became able to walk and talk to animals. From that day on, to travel with his father, she used gifts to make friends with many beasts, and in half a year she became strong enough to run, but it must have been the full moon two years after his father told him that she would come to pick him up. On the night of the 16th, the moon did not come to pick me up and the promise was not kept. The color of the gift card is pearl emerald.

Abilities[]

"I just came here to make friends."

Yō Kasukabe

She refuses to rely on others because she doesn't want to cause trouble to her companions, and because of this she gets hurt and worries her companions. It's not that she has a bad relationship with her companions but that she takes them very seriously. But precisely because of this, Yō coordination with her companions is not good.

Yō has shown to be a gifted individual and a rather fast learner, being able to pick up on Izayoi's logic-applying skills and use them to solve the Gift Game of Volume 4. She has also shown to understand the phylogenetic tree greatly to be able to combine animal DNA to form various combinations to fight.

No Former
  • "Those who can't become anyone". Although the effect is unknown, it is said that this is the reason why it does not turn into a monster even if it uses the "Inventory of Life", and that it cannot move without the "Inventory of Life".
  • It is the gift that keeps her from becoming a chimera through the use of the Genome Tree. It has been stated that the Gift originated from her mother. Currently, there is speculation that the source of the gift is also the Dystopia Demon Lord.
Nidhogg: The fang of a snake dragon that is said to eat the world tree.
  • A boon that emits black flames. Used in conjunction with the Golden Wing Flame from the Life Inventory.

Yō has shown to be a rather skilled combatant, being able to use her powers to even defeat physically superior foes, such as Graiya, Maxwell, and simultaneously 2 of the Two-Headed Dragon "Clones" of Azi Dakaha's blood.

「GIFT」

"This is a symbol of our friendship."

Yō Kasukabe

Catalog of Life: Genome Tree》: A creation-type Gift. Yō has the Gift to communicate with animals and uses the abilities/characteristics of the species she has befriended by sampling and recreating them as her own. Her gift comes from a small circular wooden medallion given to her by her father that has the Tree of Life, the evolution of life and the system of the life cycle, carved into it. Shiroyasha has commented that Yō's father must have been a great genius to be able to carve the Tree of Life onto such a small circular medallion. Later, it is revealed that it was not carved by her father but the Dystopia Demon Lord. Izayoi even stated that with the almighty power of the Genome Tree, it would be difficult for him to win against Yō.
  • Animal Communication: Yō has shown to be able to understand a wide array of animals and Eudemons, such as Calico Cat and Gry.
  • Animal Mimicry: Yō has been shown to use various abilities similar to animals. To use the abilities/characteristics of animals and allow the body to change by using genes of animals she has sampled enabling the creation of new DNA structures, thereby resulting in the creation of new abilities.
    • Animal - Cheetah - Enhanced Speed: Yō has been shown to imitate the speed of a Cheetah (around 60 mp/h). Now that she's faster than this at her base level, she doesn't seem to use this ability.
    • Animal - Elephant - Enhanced Strength: Yō has shown to imitate the strength of an elephant (around 10 tons). However, she doesn't use this ability anymore due to her Celtic Titan enhanced strength.
    • Animal - Bat - Echolocation: Yō is capable of imitating the ability of echolocation of a bat. This grants her limited night vision, and sonar abilities.
    • Animal - Elephant - Weight: Yō has been shown to imitate the weight of an elephant (around 10 tons).
    • 2nd Gen. Eudemon - Gryphon - Flight: Yō has shown to imitate the flight gift of a Gryphon. This grants her the gift of flight, by running of controlled air currents. She can reach impressive speeds by doing so. This is Yō's most used combination. She mainly uses this so she can fall from great heights without getting hurt.
    • 2nd Gen. Eudemon - Celtic Titan - Enhanced Strength: Yō has shown to imitate the strength of a Celtic Titan. This grants her monstrous levels of strength. She has shown to be capable of greatly bruising Saurian Demon King, defeating monsters said to be as sturdy as steel with a single strike.
    • 2nd Gen. Eudemon - Hippocampi - Water Walking: Yō has shown to imitate the water walking gift of a Hippocampi. This grants her the gift of water walking (kinda), by walking on pressurized water controlled by herself. She however has not been shown to have mastered this power.
  • Great Garuda Yo

    Yō in her Garuda form

Power-Granting Animal-Themed Equipment: Yō has been shown to create equipment with abilities based on that of animals she has befriended. These are mostly high level Eudemons and even a few legendary species (i.e.. Kirin, Great Garuda).
    • Snake - Cane: A staff decorated with emerald wings with the jaws of a serpent at the tip. The serpent turned its fangs and caught the scorching heat rays of Graia, who transformed into a black dragon, and showed enough power to blow off one wing.
    • 2nd Gen. Eudemon - Pegasus-Themed - Armor Boots: Yō has been shown to create a pair of Pegasus-themed boots, which she usually uses with her power of flight from a Gryphon. It grants her much higher speed as well as greater control over her body while flying. It also greatly increases her leg kicking power and speed.
    • King of the Lightning Spirits - Kirin-Themed - Trident: Yō has been shown to create a Kirin-themed trident, which is capable of defeating very powerful opponents in a single shot of the lightning element. It has defeated even a Hippogryph (a 3rd gen). Eudemon that has the lightning element) with a single attack.
    • 2nd Gen. Eudemon - Fire Rat-Themed - Leather Lamellar Armor: Yō has been shown to create Salamander/Rat or "Fire Rat"-themed leather lamellar armor that is capable of nullifying most fire attacks including Ignis Fatuus (a hellfire of sorts) by Willa-the-Ignis-Fatuus. However, it has no offensive capabilities.
    • 2nd Gen. Eudemon - Gryphon-Themed - Armor Talon Boots: Yō is capable of creating a pair of Gryphon-themed talon boots. They are very sturdy and can even hurt the 4th-floor Demon Lord by the name of Maxwell.
    • 3rd Gen. Eudemon - Marchosias - Clawed-Wing Armor Boots: Yō has shown to be capable of creating a pair of Marchosias-themed boots, which are capable of shooting blasts of fire. The size and intensity range from simple fireballs to a flaming tempest.
    • Divine Beast of the Great Garuda; Winged Armor ─ Vinama Garda: Yō is capable of creating a "Great" Garuda-themed armor, which is capable of using the purifying flames of the "Great" Garuda to annihilate her foes. It can also fly. It has very good defense but it constantly damages her while she uses it and when Yō uses this equipment she loses her other abilities including her ability to walk. In volume 12, she fought Izayoi for a whole week in this form although Yō have lost to him due to all of her spiritual power decreased.
    • Divine Spirit of the Primordial Flame Quetzalcoatl: In volume 11, Yō was capable of creating her own Quetzalcoatl form. In this form her spiritual level increased and gained weight which was stated to be comparable to a planet, there was also a bishop's staff decorated with elements of the snake and a bird, and on top of it was the skull of a dragon. She used this to oppose Azi Dahaka's Khvarenah. The Quetzalcoatl form is very powerful and possesses an Anti-Eschatology Gift, if Azi Dahaka's flame calls upon the end of the world, Quetzalcoatl's flame is the opposite attribute.
  • Befriending - Power-Boost: Each time Yō befriends any being that is either an animal, Eudemon, or a Divine Beast she gets stronger based on the power of the said animal or Eudemon.
  • Healing - Power-Boost: Each time Yō has been damaged severely she becomes more powerful. It most likely has something to do with evolution, to compensate for her lack of strength at the time.
  • Animal-Like Senses: Yō has proven to have incredible senses of sight (night vision, and the range and clarity of an eagle), hearing (enhanced range and clarity), smell (largely enhanced range and clarity), and taste (enhanced clarity and pallet). She is even capable of sensing the location of where Maxwell is going to teleport by sensing a little way into the future. However, she can only do this for 3 seconds at a time before taking a split-second pause.

A 15-year-old girl, Asuka is a heiress from a rich family that owns a financial company. Originally, she lived in a period after a war (presumed to be WWII) while attending boarding school. Who is one of the problem children, she was invited to the world of miniature gardens shortly after the war. Ever since she came to Hakoniwa, she has been wearing a red dress daily. She is Kuon Ayato's twin sister who died before it was decided which one was her older sister or younger sister.

In her original world, she was the daughter of a conglomerate and was almost guaranteed happiness in the future. For her, there are two places where she lives, her parents' mansion and the girls' dormitory, and she doesn't know the lifestyle of Japanese people of the same era. She went to school until she was ten years old, and although it was a strict place, she had her friends and was reasonably trusted by her teachers. She didn't even get along with her relatives, and she was a top candidate for the head of the family. However, she is disgusted with her relationships and her unchanging daily life, where her gifts make everything her own, and she decides to go to the world of sandplay.

Born into a family that has passed down nearly 10 generations of descendants by a divine spirit, members of the former "No Name" who were sent to the outside world lend their strength to grow into a large financial conglomerate called the "Kuon Zaibatsu", specializing in the prosperity of commerce. The blood of those who possessed the blessings mixed in various ways, and by receiving the faith to wish for a savior in the era immediately after the defeat, he was born with a spiritual identity that can be called a demigod spirit.

This is why Asuka's gift specializes in "giving" compared to the other two. Originally, it was supposed to manifest as a Divine Spirit, but due to the Divine Spirit's bounty and the body becoming twins, Asuka gained the Divine Spirit's bounty. A living god who possesses the deity of the imperial family, which was vacated by the blood of the imperial family and the human declaration.

She is noble but naive and has a personality that attracts devils. Don't be stubborn, listen to the other person and try to have a conversation about what you don't know. That's why I assert that I don't know what I don't know. Because he grew up in a harsh era, he is interested in small things in an open sand garden and is easily attracted to girlish things. Although he has a lot of pride, he is by no means arrogant and has the flexibility to accept the opinions of others.

In Part 1, the physical abilities are normal humans, and in battle, he mainly uses "Dean" to fight, but "Almatia's Citadel", which was created and obtained with the technology of "Will o' Wisp", and "Hameln's wind flute", he began to use jewels with benefits such as ignition and cooling.

During the Battle of Azi-Dakaha, he led the entire army in a war of attrition. After the duel with Kuon Saicho, he set off in search of his no-name comrade who was sent to the outside world. The author said that he likes hard-working characters, and listed him as one of his favorite characters. The color of the gift card is wine red.

Abilities[]

"I, Kudou Asuka, abandoned my wealth, power, and bright future to come to this world. Why would I walk into another blessed environment?"

Asuka Kudō

A source of insecurity that she is physically the weakest among the three problem children, having no outstanding physical abilities like Izayoi and Yō, but her talent of how to hold and controlling finances in No Name Community is great, that even Izayoi impressed and also his strategy the same as Izayoi standard of Intellect. In terms of identity, she is the eldest lady of a large financial group after the war. It is speculated that she is more like a kind of human god.

The gift he holds is Might, the gift card is burgundy, and Asuka has proven to have some skill in using the silver sword after the defeat of Fores Garo Community. She summoned the sword when forced to fight, using it against the rats that attacked her and Ratten.

The red dress with bows she receives from Kurousagi (Black Rabbit) has an "aura of protection" which makes it suitable for fights. She states that it is "easy to move in." To make friends, you rarely use her power to command others. Instead, Asuka uses it to control gifts, so that the controlled gifts can exert greater power.

Ama no Murakumo Sword
  • A bronze sword that is considered one of the Three Sacred Treasures. Astra, the star sword of all things tuning, exerts the power to step into the "omnipotent realm" that completely seals the surrounding area, including itself, only when held by a member of the imperial family who holds the deity of the Japanese gods. Asuka owns a swing that was lost in the Heian period.
  • Among Faceless's relics recovered by the Queen, it was the only one that was transferred to Asuka and was reforged into a Japanese sword by heaven's hand.
  • Asuka uses it as a power that separates lore and spirituality as a way to narrow it down to local things. If it is magical, it can be nullified unconditionally, and the curse can be canceled due to rumors. If you don't master the supremacy of Brahma Ichijo, you're said to be lacking in painting dragon points, but even if you want to return to stick-swinging swordsmanship, it's possible to separate tradition and spirituality.
Orb of Flame
  • A jewel that has the power of fire. By using Hamelin's wind flute to imbue the thrown orb with a pseudo-divinity and expanding the spirituality, it becomes a super-compressed heat ray, instantly demonstrating destructive power equal to that of purgatory.
  • The heat rays that landed at the foot of the mountain created a huge cavity, and 80% of Azi-Dakaha's divine spirit-level clone disappeared.
「GIFT」

"You will sit down and answer my questions."

Yō Kasukabe

Oraculum [Authority]》 - A powerful Gift that lets her control people, objects, and gifts by issuing verbal commands at the target "A world where all replies are YES". Depending on the will of the user, they could either remain conscious during the ordeal or be completely subjugated due to her will and the force of her command overpowering them. It is unknown how Asuka acquired this ability or if she was born with it but claims that she possessed this power at a very young age. Black Rabbit informed her that she could refine this ability through use and practice. It’s stated that Asuka’s power was something she was born with and connected to the Japanese Pantheon.
Since coming to Little Garden, Asuka discovered that her Gift can also control the Gifts of items, objects, and weapons. Initially and for the most part, she faced difficulties in controlling Gifts as proven when she was incapable of commanding a majority of the Gifts the No Name community had left because they refused to obey her. This is due to her lack of talent in this area compared to commanding people. However, Asuka has been able to overcome most of these problems after practice and refinement. Asuka's true ability she later discovered is to strengthen Gifts, to the point where even low-level Gifts can counter divine Gifts. This is described as a power similar to Divinity and so-called Mock Divinity.
It is a boon that means the category itself, including “Gorgon’s Majesty” and “Balor’s Majesty”, and a boon that grants pseudo-divine status. The reason why it didn't work on opponents with a higher Spirituality than myself was that the method of granting pseudo-divineness was oracles (words), and because the Spirituality quickly dissipated, words deteriorated before reaching the target. Because, depending on the spirit of the opponent, they will bounce off.
The maximization of the bounty by the granting of this pseudo-godhood is a power that is infinitely close to the authority on the side of the giver, and it is possible to raise it to nuclear heat if it is fire, to heavenly lightning if it is lightning, and to absolute zero if it is freezing. If it is local, it may be possible to change events. It is possible to maximize the work of gods and buddhas by granting a pseudo-divinity, sublimating a gift that can scatter sparks to a gift that evaporates iron, and even neutralize Valor's majesty with a low-output benefit for self-defense.
As a drawback, the pseudo-divine only increases the output, and it can be used several times unless it is comparable to the armor made with the technology of the gods like Shinchin Iron or the Ryukaku, which is a lump of spirituality. It will break with use. When used on living creatures, it causes severe pain and shortens lifespan. Also, although it is good at increasing output momentarily, it is not suitable for maximizing output for a long time, and the effect of changing the mass change of gifts such as Mizuki that increases or decreases water and Shinchin Iron does not last long. Because he was able to subdue those with a lower spiritual rank than himself, he misunderstood that Asuka's high level of education and his own strong will became the power to control, and he said, "Dominating the seed (the opponent's mind and body). I was trying to develop the ability in the direction of "gifts that control gifts" instead of "gifts".
  • Mind Control: Asuka's main power of her gift, enabling her to control the wills of those weaker than her own will with her words. There have been cases where this ability has been broken such as attempting to control Laius Perseus who claims that Asuka's Gift only works on those with low-level Gifts, which turns out to be true as Asuka's Gift has proven to be completely ineffective against those more powerful than her. Although the aforementioned as well as Galdo Gasper remained fully conscious while under Asuka's control, others such as Jin Russel were not aware that they were under her control and what they were doing implying that opponents with stronger Gifts under her command have a degree of resistance to Asuka's Gift. This type of control has also been shown to work on animals and plants.
  • Empowerment: After arriving in Little Garden, Asuka strives to control the ability to control other gifts. Black Rabbit was the one who taught her that her words can also affect objects and grant them power or draw power from them. She first used this with the cross sword she obtained through the game with Fores Garo and again when she obtained Deen.
    • Bestowing Mock Divinity: Asuka's true ability with her Gift. She can bestow a form of Mock Divinity to the items and greatly enhance their abilities, such as with the Hand of Ruby and Hand of Amber. She increased the flames released by the items that the flames, which could barely ignite, were able to release a flame strong enough to incinerate a death beam. However, the sudden increase of power within the Gifts caused the rubies to shatter after a few uses. This is because of this power that it was difficult for Asuka to find a Gift to use, and why she was forced to use the Water Tree in the [FAIRYTALE in PERSEUS] Gift Game. This power is also the reason why the Spear of Indra was powerful enough to defeat Pest. Asuka’s Gift lets her grant ten times their normal strength, as such, it was able to release a power equivalent to destroying a star. When combined with the absolute assurance of victory it was enough to defeat Pest. In Volume 11, Asuka was able to use this gift to empower the vampiric salamanders of [Salamandra] and the Stymphailan bird army to be able to attack Azi Dahaka. However, at the cost of their new power, their life was cut short. When the battle against Azi Dahaka advanced in Volume 8, Asuka blessed the land with the level of an Earth Mother Goddess, turning the land into a ‘Sanctuary,’ preventing Azi Dahaka’s clones from eating away at the land with their curse.
    • Temple Construction (Shrine Craft): By giving a pseudo-divinity to a wide area of land, it is deified and forms a territory. The trunks of the trees in the temple serve as spears, the leaves serve as blades, and the earth serves as strong fists to attack the enemy. Each attack has enough destructive power to damage Azi-Dakaha's divine spirit-level clone. If you manipulate the trees without gently turning the land itself into a shrine, the pseudo-divine spirit will instantly burn the spirit and turn it into a dead tree. Even Almatia praises his ability to complete the "temple construction" in a short time.
Merun faerie

Merun》: A colony fragment born from the above colony spirit at the end of a long journey and the true story of the Piped Piper of Hamelin. The 131st companion of "Rattenfanger". Although it doesn't have enough power to revive the dead land of Noname on its own, it can heal (Gift of Agriculture) the land by decomposing wood and the like. Meet Asuka and get help from him. After bestowing pioneering achievements before the colony spirit disappears, she receives the name "Merun" from Asuka and joins her "No Name". Using his achievements in reclamation, he helped the restoration of "No Name's" farm and succeeded in reviving the farmland.

  • Gift of Agriculture (Earth Manipulation): Her powers are not well known but it has been shown that Merun possesses some capabilities in restructuring the earth around her. She can make the Soil become a Quicksand pit that traps her opponents as seen in her battle against Perytons. She has other Earth-based powers that are not clearly said in the light novel or anime as she said that she could make the [No Name] barren land arable again with the help of the others bringing her biodegradable material.
  • Flight: Merun possesses the power to fly, but her flight is reliant on her stamina. If she grows tired she will find a place to land.

"DEAN~~"

DEAN」: A retractable automatic doll (Automator) made of Shinchin iron that Asuka uses. An eternally driven demon that was improved by the group spirit of "Rattenfanger" with the divine iron given to him by the Dragon King of the Sea of Stars. Talos is an iron doll from Greek mythology that was originally owned by Ouroboros. The original Shinkin Iron does not change its original weight no matter how much it is enlarged, but it can be increased up to 10 times its weight with "Authority". This is because the spiritual quality of the Shinchin Iron is proportional to the weight of the core part, but "Authority" is a local and instantaneous maximization of the spiritual quality, and it has a mass similar to that of the Shinchin Iron. It is not compatible with bloating due to change, and its effect does not last long.

  • To intercept the gigantic dragon that assaulted "Underwood", Sara fused with the dragon's horn that she had cut off herself, and by integrating with the armor, it began to spew out a red wind filled with heat from the body of the temple cave. By fusing the iron core with Sara's dragon horn, her physical strength has been strengthened and she is now able to spew out the flames of her dragon horn. The whole body was driven by the telescopic benefits of Shinchin Iron, but by adding gears and pistons to the body of the temple cave, the Shinzukuri made full use of the benefits of the stretchable Shinchin Iron. With a perpetual motion machine, it gained more charging power and maneuverability than before. When attacking a giant dragon, half of its body was cut off and damaged, but it was later repaired by Jack and Luios.
  • Deen is a powerful gift fashioned to contain the power to defeat those summoned into Little Garden alongside [Rattenfanger], the [Grim Grimoire Hamlin]. Deen is strong enough to assault the Celtic titans, and even hold back the giant dragon from Volume 4 after receiving Sala's Dragon Horn. Once the Dragon Horn was integrated further into Deen, he is capable of emitting flames from its body.
Abilities: Shapeshifting: Deen is a walking automaton with its own soul granted to it by Red Sacred Ore, the same one used to create Sun Wukong's staff. As such Deen possesses the capabilities to change its size (16 meters tall) as well as extend its limbs like it had done to destroy several Strums in the fight against Ratten.
Solar Energy: Deen has the power to release radiation similar to the sun, as he blocked the fog Percher released from reaching You, Calico, and a child.
  • Death Resistance: Since Deen is crafted with Sacred Red Ore, he is unaffected by Death gifts, which protect him both from Percher's winds and the [The Death Eye of Balor].
Wind Flute of Hamelin》 Ratten's magic flute, a spirited demon that had the benefit of manipulating people's minds by playing a strange tone, was created as a benefit of conveying the user's intentions with the sound of Jack's hand cutting the wind. If used by others, it would be nothing more than an information transmission gift. It is not a particularly powerful gift, but if used by Asuka, who is capable of exalting a divinity through an oracle, it would be possible to form a territory through the deification of a wide area, "temple construction". Shrine Craft)", restraining the actions of the enemy, strengthening benefits and fellowships, all of which are possible with a single action of waving the whistle, making it a super powerful gift.
Wind Flute of Hamelin-Asuka
The Citadel of Almatia》: Among the Greek gods, who are famous for being one of the most problematic children among the gods, a goat divine beast with a few personalities, and a reincarnation of the Star Beast of Capricorn, Almatia. She is famous as the goddess of fertility and the adoptive parent of Zeus, the god of the sky, as well as being the strongest shield. It has powerful limbs and hooves with two powerfully elongated horns, and lightning bolts shoot out from its silvery white fur. When humanized, she wears a vertical striped top sweater with large breasts and an open chest and becomes a beautiful woman with semi-long flaxen hair.
  • He has some kind of contract with Asuka, and although they call each other "Master" and "Alma", they are not completely subordinate to each other and look down on them. According to the mixed world demon king, the current Greek mythology is due to her great achievement in raising this Capricorn star beast and Zeus, the leader of the Greek gods, and is top notch in terms of human resource development. She is the goddess of fertility who raised the chief god of the Greek gods from childhood. It becomes the "Shield of Aegis ", which is a shield. She also enhances her spiritual status by lending her name to the Aegis system.
  • Willa, Jack, and Luios created a pseudo-Aegis shield by combining goat skin and vajra iron. It can transform its body into liquid copper, transform into a steel sphere to protect Asuka by enveloping it, or tie up enemies while still in liquid form. The Shield of Aegis is a weather symbol controlled by Zeus, the god of the sky, so a deity of the sky is required to activate the shield. Asuka chews up the four jewels containing pseudo-divine spirits and takes them in, regaining her original divinity. turn into a fluid. Armenia, which has become a flowing energy body, flies at the speed of lightning and pierces the enemy with its horns. Furthermore, it shoots divine thunder comparable to the sky god's thunderbolt that instantly disappears even blood droplets, and disintegrates from elements.
  • By giving a pseudo-divinity to a wide area of land, it is deified and forms a territory. The trunks of the trees in the temple serve as spears, the leaves serve as blades, and the earth serves as strong fists to attack the enemy. Each attack has enough destructive power to damage Azi-Dakaha's divine spirit-level clone. If you manipulate the trees without gently turning the land itself into a shrine, the pseudo-divine spirit will instantly burn the spirit and turn it into a dead tree
  • Spirit:
    • Galatea」A dwarf-shaped waterside spirit nymph with flaxen hair in braids. shy. It can instantly dry wet clothes and determine whether water is harmful or not. When Asuka was asked by Scylla to exterminate a witch, she was nostalgic.
    • Scylla」A waterside spirit with a legend that turned into a monster, who asked Asuka to exterminate the witch. Asuka's Ama no Murakumo sword cuts out the "tradition that was turned into a monster".

"Mondaiji-tachi ga Hakoniwa ni Yattekita yō desu yo?" (問題児たちが箱庭にやって来たようですよ?)
Noizi Ito January 12, 2013
Choosing to leave behind everything in pursuit of their personal goals, human teenagers Izayoi Sakamaki, Asuka Kudō and Yō Kasukabe are transported to an alternate reality "The Little Garden", where different races with different powers, or "Gifts" reside. There, they meet Black Rabbit, a kemonomimi girl with rabbit ears, making her a Judge Master that enforces rules and order due to being servant of The Little Garden's creator. She explains the place's logic to them: The Little Garden revolves around 'Gift Games' that challenge players with games of varying danger while betting something in exchange for rewards if they win, with the rules written on Geass Scrolls that are absolute and unchanging. Black Rabbit also invites them into her own community of players. Making their way to a rural village in the East, Black Rabbit leaves Asuka and Yō with her community's leader Jin after noticing that Izayoi separated from them in search of fun. As the rest wait for Black Rabbit and Izayoi's return over some drinks, they are approached by a mysterious man.

Asuka, Yō and Jin are confronted by Galdo Gaspar, a beast man who is also the leader of a community named "Forres Garo" and invites the girls to join his community along with Black Rabbit. To convince them, he makes fun of how Jin's community was forced to become a "No-Name" after losing an undeniable challenge from the tyrannical Demon Lords of The Little Garden, resulting in the community losing its formal name and banner. This has left the remaining members to be Jin, Black Rabbit and around one hundred and twenty children with ages 10 and below, making winning their banner and name back difficult. At the same time, Black Rabbit, finding Izayoi after he defeats a water god, explains their situation to him in hopes the three can help. Izayoi, liking the idea to fight stronger opponents, agrees. Asuka, suspicious of Galdo's claim that his community has won all Gift Games that involve staking their banner, uses her Gift to command him to reveal how. It turns out that Galdo had kidnapped women and children from other communities to subdue and blackmail them into doing their bidding, however breaking his promises and killing them all off eventually. Infuriated, the girls challenge him to a Gift Game the next day.
After Izayoi and Black Rabbit reunite with the others, the group visits Shiroyasha, a Demon Lord from the "Thousand Eyes" -- an extremely large trade community -- to appraise the children's Gifts. Unlike others of her kind, Shiroyasha has chosen to use her strength for peace, becoming the Floor Master, or guardian of the East Side of The Little Garden. They decide to challenge her to a Gift Game that Yō wins by befriending a griffin and overcoming its trial, using her Gift of taking the powers of other animals she had befriended to ultimately save herself. From Shiroyasha, the three learn that they come from different times on Earth, and earn Gift Cards that can store their Gifts and list their names, with Izayoi's stating "Unknown".

"Ofuro de Anna Koto ya Konna Koto da sō desu yo?" (お風呂であんなコトやこんなコトだそうですよ?)
Ruroo January 26, 2013
By beating the water god, Izayoi receives an endless water supply from a water tree that he lets the No-Names use. The girls use this water to bathe together, after which Asuka borrows a dress from Black Rabbit that gives its wearer an additional aura of protection. That same night, Galdo's subordinates infiltrate the No-Names' territory but are found out by Izayoi, revealing that all the hostages have already been killed and claiming that Jin can defeat all the Demon Lords. Although the latter disagrees with the idea, Izayoi reasons that although the Demon Lords and other communities would attack them, the plan would gain them fame and communities who would be against the Demon Lords. When he speaks ill of some of their former members that were disloyal to No-Name, Jin tells Izayoi that a former Demon Lord and comrade is now being wagered as a prize for a soon-to-be-held Gift Game. Izayoi promises to save that comrade if Asuka, Yō and Jin can win the Gift Game tomorrow.
The next day, all of them are brought to Galdo's residence, which has been newly revamped with a tangling creeper forest and beastification magic. The rules, however, handicap the three to be unable to use their Gifts, forcing them to defeat Galdo instead of using a designated weapon. After being confronted by Galdo, who has turned into a demon tiger despite originally being a tiger that can assume human form, Jin deduces from the surrounding magic to be of vampiric and demon nature, suspecting the involvement of another party involved. Recognizing their designated weapon to be a cross-sword speared in the wall, Yō distracts Galdo as Asuka orders Jin to run away alone first, however inadvertently carting herself off with him. When Yō returns injured and collapses, Asuka returns to the residence, sets the place on fire, and lures him out to the forest. Recalling how Black Rabbit had tutored her to use her Gift in controlling others' Gifts as well, she uses the creepers in restraining Galdo, commands the sword to give her its power, and kills him, winning the game. This causes all of his slaves to be freed before Jin's vow to take down the Demon Lords, angering the vampire who cast the curse on Galdo. Bringing Yō back to their territory, an unnamed man with black and blonde hair arrives at Shiroyasha's place.
04 "It Seems Some Pervert is After Black Rabbit?"
"Kuro Usagi ga Eroiyarashii Yatsu ni Nerawareta yō desu yo?" (黒ウサギがエロイヤらしい奴に狙われたようですよ?)
Fujima Takuya February 2, 2013
While Yō continues to recover, Black Rabbit discusses with Izayoi about their next step to rescue Leticia Draculair, a pure-blood vampire who was the former Demon Lord and comrade Jin previously talked about. However, their conversation is interrupted by the vampire who assisted Galdo when Black Rabbit goes to make tea, who is none other than Leticia herself. She apologises for causing them trouble as she only wished to know the extent of the children's powers, but concludes that their Gifts are too unrefined to manage the community and wants Black Rabbit to disband it as the Gift Game wagering her had been cancelled. Leticia's owner, the blonde-haired-black-haired man at Shiroyasha's place named Luios Perseus, decides to attack the No-Names using a Gorgon that can turn people to stone when his by its rays, much to the latter's chagrin. Leticia sacrifices herself to protect Asuka after Black Rabbit discovers she had lost all her divinity and become an ordinary vampire instead during a Gift Game with Izayoi. Members of Luios's community, Perseus, are sent to retrieve her and Izayoi stops Black Rabbit from attacking them, choosing to speak with Luios instead at Shiroyasha's. Instead of betting Black Rabbit on the line, they choose to challenge Perseus to a duel after Izayoi earns titles from winning against legendary monsters like the Kraken and Graeae, giving them the right to challenge any community to a Gift Game despite being a No-Name.
05 "The Oath Seems to be Beyond the Stars?"
"Chikai wa Hoshi no Kanata ni da sō desu yo?" (誓いは星の彼方にだそうですよ?)
Thores Shibamoto February 9, 2013
The Gift Game involves invading Luios' fortress and only those who can reach him without being detected win, lest they lose their rights to challenge him. However, the guards all have invisibility Gifts from Hades Helm replica helmets, with Luios himself holding Leticia's Gifts. With those rules in mind, Izayoi comes with a plan of having Asuka distract most of the guards using the water tree while Yō gives way to him and Jin as they sneak past them. Yō helps Izayoi and Jin obtain one of the replicas and steal the real Hades Helm using echolocation. Instead of confronting them, Luios unleashes his trump card, Algol the Gorgon, a former Demon Lord under his control, turning all outside the colosseum into stone and attacks Izayoi, who easily overpowered it with his strength and defeats it by destroying its Gift with his Unknown ability. Although Luios admits defeat and relinquishes Leticia, Izayoi gives him a chance to fight back in a fist fight, raising the stakes of the game where Perseus has to wager their banner when they lose. He exiles Luios from being a part of the Thousand Eyes league, taking down their banner, the Perseus constellation from the night sky. Leticia returns to the No-Name community as a maid as gratitude for saving her. As they celebrate together, Izayoi vows to put their banner in the sky as well. Their celebration is interrupted by a letter from an unknown sender.

Asuka remembers her days of confinement in a mundane boarding school where no one could defy her, prompting her to choose to enter The Little Garden. Waking up, they find a letter that Black Rabbit has been trying to keep a secret: an invitation to the Nativity of the Salamander Festival at Salamandra, located in the North-east district of the Northern region in celebration of the coronation of their new leader 11-year-old Sandra Dortlake, who is also a friend of Jin. Finding out that there will be Gift Games involved, despite the high traveling costs Yō, Asuka and Izayoi run away to the festival with Jin and a little fox girl named Lili, leaving a note behind to Black Rabbit threatening to leave the community should she not catch them in a day. Seeking Shiroyasha's help in getting to Salamandra, Yō is caught by Black Rabbit as Izayoi and Asuka escape to the festival grounds as a chase ensues. Black Rabbit is challenged to a game where the winning party can order the loser to do any one thing of their choice. After Izayoi brings down a building that leads the game to a draw, military policemen of Salamandra, led by Sandra's brother Mandra, arrive to confront them. Meanwhile, Asuka espies a lost faerie and decides to chase it, with Leticia following her closely.

While with Shiroyasha, Yō is invited to participate in a Gift Game tournament known as Battle of the Creators, passing the preliminaries to advance to the finals. Since no one got hurt during the game between Black Rabbit and Izayoi, Sandra decides to let them go unpunished, to Mandra's disappointment in his hatred for the No-Names. As an additional punishment, Shiroyasha requests that they protect Sandra by slaying the Demon Lord mentioned in the prophecy of Laplace's demon. Meanwhile, Asuka gets on good terms with the faerie from a community called "Rattenfänger", going to an art exhibit where she is amazed by an armor made by the community themselves. However, she is attacked by rats that she cannot controlled, having to be saved by Leticia instead. Since her Gift of authority doesn't work on someone stronger than her, Asuka figures that someone is manipulating the rats and tries to become stronger, growing jealous of Izayoi and Yō's physical prowess. During a meeting, Shiroyasha lets Black Rabbit judge the Battle of Creators the following day. Upon announcement of the remaining participants' communities, Asuka is surprised to see Rattenfänger in the list beside No-Name, Salamandra, and Will-o'-the-wisp. Shiroyasha explains that the Rattenfänger, the one who manipulates rats, is related to a community called the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" who once worked under a Demon Lord that summoned 200 demons and led a community called "Grimm Grimoire" which got disbanded after losing in a Gift Game. Jin further explained the relation of the Pied Piper to the Rattenfänger, detailing its history as being the same person since Rattenfänger is just a German word for Pied Piper. After figuring out its roots, everyone concludes that with the assistance of Rattenfänger, the Demon Lord of Grimm Grimoire will attack at the Nativity of the Salamander. As they dismiss their meeting, Shiroyasha cautions everyone to be on their guard for any spy from Rattenfänger and protect Sandra, making Asuka doubt the identity of the little faerie with her.

The Battle of the Creators begins where Yō is pitted against Asha Ignis-Fatuus from the Will-o'-the-wisp community and their greatest Gift, Jack-o'-lantern, much to Asuka's delight of seeing him for the first time. Faced with an immortal demon, Yō surrenders although she could ask someone for help from her community, not wanting to rely on others. Just then, black Geass rolls start falling from the sky, inviting everyone to join a game. The aim of the game forces players to "break the false lore and expose the true legend", as well as forming a barrier around Shiroyasha that hinders her participation in the game. Above the arena are the members of the community "the Pied Piper of Hamelin". Izayoi, hoping to find their leader, randomly picks an opponent and ends up fighting Weser, the embodiment of the Weser river from the fairytale. Leticia and Sandra also battle against Pest, a Demon Lord of "The Black Plague" in the story as Asuka, Yō, and Jin try to figure out the cause of Shiroyasha's inability to join the game. Ratten, the embodiment of the rats from the story and the one who attacked Asuka in the art exhibit, gains control over the citizens of Salamandra using her flute. Asuka makes Jin and Yō run away, wanting to beat Ratten, but loses and is lost.

As chaos reigns over Salamandra, Black Rabbit uses her authority as Judge Master to put the game on hold and ask both parties to have a meeting. The No-Names try to confirm the details of the game from Pest, who is also the community leader and the game's host, but the rules are confirmed to be just and being followed due to the lack of details. While trying to find a schedule to resume the game, Pest reveals that she is spreading pathogens throughout the city to make people ill, threatening the No-Names to join their community Grim Grimoire of Hamelin if they want to live. Deducing that this is a new community wanting more manpower, Izayoi bends the rules to allow Black Rabbit to participate in the game as well, postponing the game to a week's time. Meanwhile, Asuka is being held captive in a dark cave along with the little faerie. When she regains consciousness, the lost souls of the 130 children that died in the story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin appear asking Asuka to help them end the false lore of the Rattenfänger in exchange for their armour, Dean, if she can make it submit to her in a game. After 4 days, Yō and the citizens of Salamandra are feeling the symptoms of the Black Plague. Izayoi visits Yō in her room to help her alleviate her boredom, trying to find out the truth behind the fairytale. Due to them all being summoned from different timelines, many things happened differently but there would be some unchanged, although there would still be the question of whether the Pied Piper of Hamelin they are facing is the same story they know as the Black Plague is unable to kill the children in the story in a limited time which creates a contradiction. Remembering that the Black Plague occurred in the 14th century after the "Little Ice Age" due to the weakening of the Sun, and that Shiroyasha has control over the Sun's activity, he realises that the prerequisite for the game will not be met if she joins the game since the Black Plague which is a necessary part of the game, will not be able to occur when the Sun is active. Izayoi also recalls the stained glasses depicting the Pied Piper of Hamelin scattered across the town in the story. Following the riddle, they should break all the stained glass except for the one that depicts the true legend behind the Pied Piper. At the day of the game, Izayoi and the others scatter around Salamandra, breaking stained glasses of the false lore. The Grim Grimoire of Hamelin summons the village of Hamelin in a panic, changing the locations of the stained glasses and doubling their powers. Weser, with his divinity activated, tries to take on Izayoi. Black Rabbit and Sandra fight hand in hand against Pest while Jin and the others fight against Ratten and the Stroms, her ceramic monsters. Just then, Asuka saves them with Deen at her command.

Izayoi continues to fight against Weser, the real Pied Piper of Hamelin, revealing that the Pied Piper of Hamelin appeared during the time the Black Plague was getting weak and that the others "were added later, [and were] modelled after Black Plague.", ultimately provoking Weser to fight and be defeated. Meanwhile, using Dean, Asuka battles against the Ratten's Stroms and wins despite allowing her to play one additional song to control Dean. To buy time, Pest tells Sandra and Black Rabbit of her identity as the embodiment of the resentment and revengeful desire of the 80 million people that died from the Black Plague, wanting to have revenge on the Sun, and hence Shiroyasha. Sensing her two comrades' death, her patience snaps, spreading a dark red wind of plague that kills anyone it touches. To stopper the never-ending flow of sickness, Black Rabbit transports the fighters to the Moon Palace, the Chandra Mahal, weakening Pest's power. Asuka commands the full potential of the Spear of Indra that Black Rabbit lent her to defeat Pest, thereby ending the game. After the battle, Asuka meets with the children, who tell Asuka of another interpretation of the Pied Piper of Hamelin. In the story, the 130 children left their parents' homes to follow the Pied Piper to a city where they would build their own community, the Rattënfanger. Deciding to return to their time, they leave her in-charge of Dean and their 131st member, the little faerie that Asuka names Merun. In the Salamandra Palace, Izayoi confirms his claims to Mandra that Salamandra had invited the Demon Lord Pest to the festival, staging her defeat which can concrete Sandra's claim to her position as Salamandra spreads the news of their victory against the Demon Lord. With no excuse for the actions, Mandra lets Izayoi take his life in exchange that Sandra is kept unknowing, but Izayoi tells him that he would rather want Salamandra to be the first to aid them in their time of need instead. At the No-Name community, everyone attempts to re-fertilize their land with the help of Merun and Dean. In the midst of happy toil, a letter floats down before Izayoi with a mysterious seal on top.

This is the first published work by Taro Ryunoko, who won the Encouragement Award at the 14th Sneaker Grand Prize for "EQUATION: Equation". Set in a boxed world, this work is a story about troubled children summoned from another world to confront various shura gods, Buddha, and demons and has a variety of motifs such as myths, fairy tales, and historical events. The work sometimes gives the impression of being overstuffed, but this is because the author, Ryunoko, crammed in as many ideas as she could at the time, after receiving a comment in a past Sneaker Grand Prize award review that "I wish I could use up more ideas." At first, Ryunoko came up with the idea of writing a fantasy with a completely original setting, but she thought it would be tough for a newcomer with no buzz to write such a fantasy in the current light novel industry. Instead, he came up with the idea of writing a historical story, which he had never written before, with historical characters being summoned to another world, but his direction changed when he began to think about incorporating elements of mythology and folklore, and eventually took its current form. Ryunoko was not originally familiar with myths and anecdotes, and this knowledge was gained through research to write the novel. In some cases, the manuscript was revised based on rough drawings of characters and settings by Amanohu. In writing the novel, Ryunoko adopted the policy of "writing a hero who does not stray," and also focused on the portrayal of the heroine, since she did not appear in "EQUATION: Equation". The selection of the illustrator was done after the novel was written, and Amanoyuri was chosen as the illustrator because she met the criteria of "being able to draw cute bunny ears".

The phrase in the title of this work, "I hear problem children are coming from another world?" was originally the subtitle of another title proposal, which was recommended by the editor who saw the subtitle. At first, Ryunoko was puzzled by the recommendation, but since a light novel is not a story unless people know it exists, she thought it would be effective in making many people aware of it, and she accepted the recommendation, partly to express her wish to "take an ugly name and be tough.
