Synopsis[]
Kurono Crawford, a noble of Cepheus Empire had a secret. It was that he came from a different world... modern Japan. Having the knowledge about the modern weapons and his sense of values, he was an existence almost like a cheat, aiming to be the Harem king. Abandoned by his superiors, left in command of the Empire's rejects consisting of demi-humans such as Minotaur's, Dwarfs, and Elves, and thrust into a position as head of a poor fiefdom, Kurono will do everything he can to rebuild and strengthen his forces and revitalize the land, aided in part by his knowledge of the other world.

Character[]
In the original world, there was a family of four: father, mother, Kuroya, and a younger sister. His hobbies were reading and the internet. During his elementary and middle school years, he led a life unrelated to sports or martial arts due to attending cram school, which made him slow to grasp the skills of physical movement and left him lacking in combat instincts.
On the day of his high school entrance exam, he fell into another world and became an adopted child of the Crawford family. Within a little over a year after falling into the new world, he mastered the language and succeeded in dieting. Taking Claude's words that nobles should attend military school to heart, he enrolled in the military academy in the imperial capital, only to quickly fail out.
Although he graduated thanks to the efforts of Arthur Wiseman, his poor grades meant he was not awarded a noble title as a substitute for a diploma. After being assigned to the Marquisate of Erakis, he faced enemies with ten times the number of troops, served as the rear guard in a retreat, and faced trials that were nothing short of death sentences.
He is basically serious and is regarded as kind by others, but he is merciless toward enemies and can resort to cowardly or despicable tactics if they are strategically effective. He often mentions being thrown off balance during military school exercises, leading Tilia to criticize him for having a small character as a person.
When activating his imprint technique, he can display combat strength one rank higher, but his body cannot withstand the recoil, limiting his fighting time. Compared to the early parts of the story, his sense of ethics has become questionable. He considers raising children properly if he has them, which is a small consolation, but it is highly doubtful whether a child raised alongside Kuroya will grow up properly.
After being assigned to the Marquis Elakis territory, he faced enemies with ten times the manpower, served as the rear guard in a retreat, and faced what was merely a name for a trial that was effectively a death sentence. Kuroya became an adopted child of the Crawford family and become Chrono. He is determined to realize a society where everyone can live without discrimination and aims to be a king who serves the people like a slave.
He becomes the 18th Emperor but dies at the young age of 42. His evaluation as an emperor varies by era. During the Age of Exploration, he was regarded as a foolish emperor who was delighted to acquire potatoes. This perception arose from dissatisfaction after he could no longer engage in slave trading or colonial policies, having made a declaration of human rights that led him to venture into the open sea ahead of other nations. Notably, this evaluation would easily change after a famine struck. There was a time when he was deified, but his reputation slightly declined due to a certain book. 500 years later, he is recognized as the emperor who achieved centralization ahead of other nations and laid the foundations for modernization.

His academic ability is at the middle school graduation level, with school grades ranging from average to slightly above average. Due to his hobbies being reading and the internet, he possess a wide range of knowledge, but much of it is not easily applicable. He was slightly chubby when I fell into this world, but I succeeded in dieting through Myra's special training.
He still do not neglect my training, but my basic physical fitness is low, and I do not have an intuitive understanding of swordsmanship or horsemanship, resulting in low combat ability. To compensate for my low combat ability, he often use dirty strategy techniques in battle. When activating his Seal technique, Chrono can display a combat ability one rank higher, but Chrono's body cannot withstand the recoil, so he can only fight for a very short time.

He is a student who is so inferior that I am recorded in the history of the military academy and was not awarded the noble rank given to military academy graduates. The skills he acquired (swordsmanship, languages, magic) are the result of his efforts. His style is close to self-taught, often using dirty techniques like shouting to create openings or using a longsword as a decoy to stab with a short sword.
- A magic is a technique that converts one's magical power into physical phenomena. There are individual differences in the attributes and difficulty of the magic that can be learned. Elves possess the attributes of fire, water, earth, and wind, while other races are better off with two attributes. A certain level of conscious capacity is required to handle the magical formulas, and beastmen are said to be unable to use magic without tools due to their low conscious capacity. Drugs with suggestive effects are used to imprint the magical formulas (spells) into the consciousness. The formulas themselves have meaning, so even the illiterate can use them. Healing magic remains almost entirely untouched.
He is fundamentally serious and kind-hearted, yet possesses a ruthlessness that allows him to use cowardly and despicable tactics, viewing even his own life as a pawn. It is often said that he has a frozen gaze, but this is simply due to his social awkwardness.

While it is hard to say he possesses high capabilities as a soldier, he has accomplished numerous feats, such as repelling an enemy with a tenfold troop advantage, serving as the rear guard in a retreat and surviving, winning over the Rue tribe, initiating a religious reform in the Holy Argos Kingdom, and successfully carrying out a coup. However, these tasks were completely beyond Chrono's abilities, and he faced near-death experiences as a consequence. Additionally, his abilities as a lord cannot be said to be high either, but he manages thanks to reliable subordinates.
His abilities as a commander are full of gaps, and despite having trained for over six years, his combat strength remains at a C+ level. His sense of ethics is relatively strong, and he possesses a corresponding sense of responsibility, but he has a weakness for women and often gets carried away in bed, his practical abilities are not particularly high, but he is achieving results due to the high capabilities of his subordinates.
Basically serious and described as kind by others, he shows no mercy to enemies and is capable of actions deemed cowardly or despicable if they are tactically effective.
