Isekai Kaeri no Araforiman, 17-sai no Koro ni Modotte Musou Suru (異世界帰りのアラフォーリーマン、17歳の頃に戻って無双する) is a Japanese light novel series written by Yuuya Yuuya. Originally published via the novel posting website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in January 2021, the series was later acquired by Famitsu Bunko, which began publishing the series in print with illustrations by Heiro. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Mimida, began serialization on the Niconico-based web manga platform Dokodemo Young Champion in June 2022.
A new manga spin-off adaptation with illustrated by HC Styrushas been serialized online via Kill Time Communication's Comic Valkyrie website since December 2022.
Synopsis[]
A black company employee in his 40s, Namba Kazu, died of overwork and was reincarnated to another world. After saving the world, he returns to find himself regressed to his 17-year-old self.
Kazu realizes that he can use the abilities he acquired from another world and is excited to restart his life over again. However, through the help of his childhood friend, Yui, he learns of the existence of human-eating abomination called Variant in the world he was born in.
Kazu knows from his past memories that Yui will die in the near future. In order to save Yui, who is on a mission to fight against variants, Kazu decided to throw himself into battle in this world as well.
