Disciple of the Lich / Disciple of the Lich: Or How I Was Cursed By the Gods and Dropped into the Abyss (不死者の弟子 ～邪神の不興を買って奈落に落とされた俺の英雄譚～, Fushisha no Deshi: Jashin no Fukyou wo Katte Naraku ni Otosareta Ore no Eiyuutan) is a Japanese Light novel series written and illustrated by Necoco with illustrated by Hihara, Yoh and is based on the web novels of the same name. The Light novel series was adapted into a manga series with illustrations by Kasei and serialized by Comic Gardo, with 4+ volumes released as of August 21, 2020.
Fushisha no Deshi: Jashin no Fukyou wo Katte Naraku ni Otosareta Ore no Eiyuutan began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou on July 19, 2019. Overlap has released a revised and illustrated version of the series since May 22, 2020 under its Overlap Novels label.
The series has been published in English as Disciple of the Lich: Or How I Was Cursed By the Gods and Dropped into the Abyss by Seven Seas Entertainment under its Airship imprint since October 12, 2021.
An ordinary teenager is transported to a fantasy world, accidentally gets on the bad side of the gods, and is dumped in the bottom of the world's deepest dungeon with no skills or magic. Ouch! Once there, he meets a mysterious girl...who happens to be undead. But despite her general dislike of humans, she decides to help him out. Can the two of them make it back to the surface? They might just be a more powerful combo than anyone was expecting!
