El-Hazard (神秘の世界エルハザード Shinpi no Sekai Eru Hazādo, lit. "The Magnificent World of El-Hazard") is a Japanese transference-themed anime franchise produced by AIC and Pioneer LDC. It was adapted from the sci-fi novel "A Princess of Mars" by Edgar Rice Burroughs according to the staff interview.
