Synopsis[]
Long, long ago, there existed a world of magic and science. God, afraid of man's potential, split the world into the world of science, Elde, and the world of magic, Phandavale. One day in Phandavale, a terrible witch named Cendrillon (Cinderella) revives. Cendrillon plots to rule both worlds and searches for the "key" which holds tremendous power.
A young boy from Elde by the name of Sōta meets a mysterious girl from Phandavale, Akazukin, and her talking wolf companion, Val. Sōta learns that he is the key Cendrillon is searching for. Now it is up to Akazukin, Val, and the other Fairy Musketeers to protect Sōta from Cendrillon and her Nightmarelians who wish to obtain the power he mysteriously possesses.

TRAILER |
Characters[]
The main character of the series. She is 14 years old, has blood type O, and appears in the OVA and all episodes of the anime (episodes 1-39). She protects Kusata from evil to save the two worlds of "Phandavale" and "Elde". She is a natural and fussy eater, but she has a strong sense of justice. She is from the village of Vise, where her parents were attacked by a wolf tribe when she was three years old, and she hopes that the world will be at peace. She is skilled in swordsmanship but not very good at magic, as she cannot use warding magic. However, she is in charge of "fire magic" among the Three Musketeers. The large weapons she handles are materialized from cards using a sweet phone. In the anime version, after all the battles were over, she and her friends went on a trip to a hot spring to make memories together and returned to Phandavale after parting with Sota and the others.
In the manga version, she returns to Elde with King Fernando's permission. In the fairy tale "Red Riding Hood," she wears a red cape, but she wears a red leather helmet with wings on it (which was once called "a red helmet rather than a red hood" in the trailer). She also has so-called "stupid hair" under her helmet. Normally, she wears a navy blue undergarment that shows her navel and a red shoulder strap or skirt-like cloth, but when she is sleeping, she wears only an undergarment, which gives a different impression. On the soles of her boots, she wears paw prints, which make a cute pitter-patter sound every time she walks. Her favorite foods are sweets and meatballs. She has a clover-shaped crest on her chest, but the design seems to be a misuse of the katabami.
Abilities[]
She is one of the Three Musketeers and has come to Erde to protect Souta who holds the Erde Key. She uses magic, but her specialty seems to be physical attacks. She can control fire magic, but she is so ignorant of magic that he cannot create a barrier. Instead, she is the strongest swordsman of the Musketeers and is so skilled that she can use the great sword in seconds, which Gretel, also a swordsman, has a hard time handling, and is an all-rounder with magic, fighting.

She wears a red hood (helmet), a red shoulder strap (with a clover crest on her chest, but the katabami is misused in the design), a skirt-like waist cloth for protection against the cold, and a cuirass and boot-like armor. The original design and the figure have an item on the shoulder that looks like a cell phone, but in the TV version, it is a sweet phone and has been moved to the waist.
The soles of the boots are covered with what appear to be paw pads, which make a beep-beep-beep sound every time the figure walks. The boots are not covert, but he seems to like them. She wears a sweet phone, survival items, and other accessories around her waist. In addition, she sometimes wears a cloak for both protection and protection (she wore a cloak when she first appeared).
When all equipment is removed, she wears only a navy blue undergarment (camisole up to her chest and shorts). She wears this outfit when not in combat (only boots are worn when going out), which gives the impression that she is different from normal. According to the backstage setting, only the underwear is made of normal fabric.
A magical tool used by the Four Leaf Knights. By setting the "Elemental Cards," which are cards with condensed spells, magic, and armaments are activated. Inspired by Elde's cell phone, the communication function was added by Snow White's magic in the 10th episode of the anime. When using magic, it is customary to shout out the name of the magic, but it is not always necessary to say the name of the magic.
She mainly uses techniques that utilize fire. As mentioned above, it is inspired by kitchen items. The weapons are molded using a sweet phone, which can be repaired with magical power.
This is the transformed form of Red Riding Hood, who leads the ultimate magic elemental card to Sweet Phone. (As she says when she transforms, "With the power of the four elements, I too am a princess for a little while!). The power of the four elements (wind, rain, wind, and water) is the only one of the three musketeers that is not a princess, and it can be said that it is the embodiment of a princess's dream.

When she transforms, the elemental power itself is formed into a costume, so after the normal costume disappears, each element is re-formed as Princess Mode equipment (the process is instantaneous, so the costumes change as if they were swapped in the play). The innerwear is designed to make the costume changeable (a changeable action figure was planned, but it did not come to fruition because the priority was enhancing the items).
The weak point of the transformation is that it cannot be performed for a long period because it consumes physical and magical power just by transforming, and when the magical power runs out, the equipment cannot be maintained. She did not know this at the time of her first transformation, so when the transformation was released, she collapsed as it was. This appearance must remind some people of the fighting princesses who wear the same red hood as hers. The same direction was also used to express the transformation by coincidentally uniting the hearts of all.

Companion[]
Red Riding Hood's partner, is a wolf who speaks human language. He is about 20 years old and his blood type is A. He appears in the OVA and all episodes of the anime (episodes 1-39). He is about 20 years old and his blood type is A. He appears in the OVA and all episodes of the anime (episodes 1-39). He insists that he is a wolf and not a dog, but this is always made into a joke and is emphasized in the Drama CD. Despite advice from Ringo, he has spoken human words to young people in Shibuya and was even featured in a TV interview as a "talking dog" because of it.
Although his name is Silver Wolf, his body hair is a mixture of silver and blue. Like Akazuki, his favorite foods are sweets and meatballs. He is the younger brother of Jed, the chieftain of the wolf clan, whose real name is Cain (Jed is his half-brother). His father was Valhan, the previous king of the wolf tribe, and his mother (voiced by Yuri Amano) was a human monk.
After his birth, he and his mother came to the village of Wiese, where Red Riding Hood was born, and he lived with her as a childhood friend, but the village was attacked and destroyed by the wolf tribe led by his brother Jed, who hated that he was even alive. He ran away to save his mother and Red Riding Hood's parents and never returned. The silver wolf who was saved by Red Riding Hood and others when he was weak in the ruined village was himself.
After he ran away, he found his mother and took the form of a silver wolf to challenge Jed, but he was beaten back and only he survived, and he was unable to return to his human body due to the physical and mental damage he sustained (in the manga version, there is a scene where he seems to have returned to human form for a moment).

(In the manga version, he seems to have turned back into a human for a moment.) He was working with Akazuki so she would not know about it, but his true identity was revealed during the battle with Jed. He is also the one who taught Akazuki "Zukkyun~". He is also the one who taught Akazukin "Zukkyun~!"... His motif is the wolf in "Akazukin". The name "Val" was given by Akazukin and others in honor of the previous king of the wolf tribe, King Valhan (i.e., his father).
A close friend of Akazuki, also one of the Three Musketeers of the Yotsuba Order, she is 14 years old, blood type B, and has appeared in the OVA and anime from episode 2 to episode 39. She is a wizard, skilled in both offensive and restorative magic, and the most resourceful of the Musketeers. Among the Musketeers, she is in charge of "water magic" and is currently entrusted with "wind magic" by Fernando. The seven pockets on her skirt contain seven messengers (based on the motif of the Seven Dwarfs), which reveal themselves when Snow White unleashes her magic to the fullest.
She likes to dress up and has a demure personality, but in fact, she has a big mouth and is overconfident to the point of describing herself as pretty. Although she is a strong person, she is an honest and sweet-natured person. As a child, she lived with her father (voice: Hori Hideyuki), who was a lord of a certain country, but her father turned cruel when a witch (voice: Niki Shizumi) who worked for Sandrillon came from a town called Withers Belle posing as her stepmother, and she felt lonely. After all the fighting was over and she returned to Phandavale, she was on her way back home to take back the homeland that was stolen from her by that witch. However, in the manga version, she is on her way to Elde with Red Riding Hood and the others because all the crap here has been cut out.
In the fairy tale "Snow White," the basic color scheme is white, red, and black, but she is a bespectacled girl whose appearance is white and blue. When she wears her hair in twin tails and takes off her glasses, she looks very pretty.
Although she and Ringo constantly quarrel, they share many things in common, such as their personalities and hairstyles. When they parted in episode 39 of the anime, she was so sad to say goodbye that she hugged Ringo and they both sobbed together.
She likes to dress up and has a demure personality, but she is actually quite outspoken and self-conscious to the point of describing herself as pretty. She is also self-conscious to the extent that she describes herself as pretty. According to Val, "There is no one in Phandavale who can beat her in a quarrel." Although she and Ringo, who are very similar, quarrel constantly, she states her assessment that "they are similar but have something that I don't have.
Abilities[]
From the magic world Phandavale. She is also one of the Three Musketeers and came to Souta to protect him. She is the type that knows intellectual magic, as she was top in her magic classes. Her specialty is magic attacks and she is a strategist. She can control ice magic and also use it to control water magic. She has also been entrusted with "wind magic" by Fernando, who is currently unable to move for various reasons, and uses it to bring the elemental clover into being.
Unlike the other two Musketeers, she carries no weapons of any kind (at best, a ring like an electric light) and is devoted exclusively to support. On the other hand, she is also in charge of engineering, such as adding communication functions to the sweet phone. While she has a wealth of medical knowledge and can mix medicinal herbs without difficulty, she is not very good at housework in general (she is said to be left to the Seven Dwarfs).

Inspired by Elde's cell phone, the communication function was added by Snow White's magic in the 10th episode of the anime. She has several pockets hanging from her skirt containing books, cards, medicinal herbs, and other items related to magic. She can also bring out "Seven Dwarfs" (fairies) from there to support her.

A descendant (314th generation) of the elves known for being the longest-lived and most beautiful in Fundavelle, and one of the Three Musketeers of the Yotsuba Order, he is 14 years old and has blood type AB. He has appeared in the anime from episode 5 to episode 39.
Among the Musketeers, he is in charge of "earth magic" and is skilled in attacks using the spines of living plants. He has a fast-paced personality and often yawns or dozes off. He has been skilled in plant magic since he was a child, but when he was particularly young, he lost control of her magical powers when he fell asleep, and had a habit of unintentionally attacking and devastating the land and creatures around him.
Fearing that he might injure those around him, he has refused to sleep since then and appears to be sleepy day and night. Therefore, he often falls asleep and falls into a trance, often going out of control and injuring friends or foes alike. She is from a country of elves, and although Ibara hime usually speaks in standard Japanese, her dialect is quite harsh. When she and Kusata parted in episode 39 of the anime, she kissed him on the cheek as a formal greeting from the elves (Snow White says, "I have never heard of such a thing"). In the manga version, she has moved to Elde like the other three Musketeers.
She did not appear in the OVA, because she was originally set as Cendrillon's subordinate; during the TV anime adaptation, there was a proposal to make all the Musketeers girls, and they were changed to the Three Musketeers of the Yotsuba Knights. The Three Musketeers in the OVA version were Red Riding Hood, Snow White, and Hamelin, who also appeared in the TV series, but less frequently since she was no longer a major character). Some settings were changed at that point.
Abilities[]
From the magic world Phandavale. She is the 3rd of the Three Musketeers. She represents Sleeping Beauty, hence the reason she is usually half asleep. She uses a torn whip to attack. Since her specialty is the Earth elemental, she can heal plants. We find out later that she is the princess of the Elf race, and she was born with a magic talent, unlike those who have to learn it. She is always sleepy because she does not sleep at night; if she does her magic would go out of control and hurt people. She can control plant magic to control Earth magic.
She loves nature, plants and trees, and this is especially emphasized in episodes involving her. She seems to care about Kusata, who also loves plants. She often yawns and dozes off at her own pace. Although she is skilled in plant magic, when she was a child she lost control of her magical powers, especially when she fell asleep, and had a habit of attacking and devastating the land and creatures around her unconsciously, which made her feared by her friends. She wanted to enroll in a magic school to learn how to control it.
She has refused to sleep since then for fear of hurting those around her. Therefore, like "Sleeping Beauty," another title of the fairy tale "Princess Thorn," she is usually asleep...or rather, she appears to be sleepy day and night. Therefore, she often falls asleep and falls into a trance, often going out of control and wounding friend or foe alike.
She wears clothes and armor that resemble flower petals and flower buds. Due in part to her lack of endurance, she is more heavily armed than the relatively lightly armed Red Riding Hood. As its name suggests, its weapon is a whip resembling a rose stem, which it uses for medium- and long-range attacks. It is also capable of searching and tracking using the stalks. It can also summon plants and use them for defense or restraint. Although she focuses on defense, her offensive abilities are solid, and she has attacked and defeated enemies single-handedly with petals and leaves.

Games[]
The game was released for the Nintendo DS on December 7, 2006.
The game's genre is action puzzle. Like "Tick-Tock Bang Bang," the game is a 15-puzzle game in which the player moves parts with paths attached to them, guiding the red hood that moves along the path to the goal door. The upper screen is Elde and the lower screen is Phandavale. Touching the lower screen switches the parts of the upper and lower screens, and guiding Red Riding Hood to the store in Elde gives her an outfit and accessories.
The game's difficulty level is set low, mainly because it is a game for girls. Unlike "Tick-Tock Bang Bang," if Red Riding Hood hits a wall or a space, she will only turn back and not make a mistake.
The costumes and accessories available total more than 800 points, and Snow White scores your fashion sense in the dress-up mode.
In addition, rare items such as costumes of characters from the anime can be obtained by entering the passwords on the cards included with the Sweet Phone and other toys. This is available on the official website as of July 2010.
