Enoku Dainibutai no Ensei Gohan/Enoku Dai Ni-butai no Ensei Gohan (エノク第二部隊の遠征ごはん, Expedition Cooking with the Enoch Royal Knights) is a Japanese light novel series written by Mashimesa Emoto. The web version of the originally published via the novel posting website serialization on Shōsetsuka ni Narō on December 2016, and the main story was completed with an update on January 26, 2020. The book version was published by GC Novels (Micro Magazine) from 2017 to 2020, and the paperback version is now available from GCN Bunko (Micro Magazine) from 2022 and illustrations by Teira Akai. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Renji Fukuhara, began serialization on the Niconico-based web manga platform Dragon Comics Age in November to July 2019.
A manga sequel adaptation and with a new illustrator by Shinobu Take, began serialization on the Niconico-based web manga platform PASH! Comics Age in August 2020.

Character[]
The main character of the series. She is 18 years old, is about 148 centimeters tall, and has brown pigtails. She was born into a large poor family of Forest Elves in the depths of the forest. For an elf, he is clumsy and has no magical power. She is not good at hunting, but she is good at housework. For his sisters, she went to work and became a medic for the Enoku Dainibutai Expeditionary Force. She is called "The Rabbit" by Ludtinku. She is actually highly magical, but he was only diagnosed by doctors as having no magical power to prevent him from being sacrificed.
Mel, a doctor assigned to an expeditionary unit, who agonizes over the disgusting taste of the preserved food she is given. The bread is sour and stony. Mel have no Element Affinity, but high magical energy (Mana). That is why she ran away to prevent being sacrificed. But later in her journey she can learned Element magic, as for being a Expedition Force and being a Medic in the party Mel learned all healing magic. She is very skilled on cooking that why the Expedition member fond on Mel's cooking talent.
She struck a deal with whatever beast she encountered along the way, using them to help her. Mel's family is her contract beast.

Phantom beast hawk lion (Griffon). Harming the princess and hiding on the southern island, she is protected by Lisris, who comes to search on her mission. She is fond of Mel and later signs a contract. |
