Character[]
Emi Kobayashi, an ordinary girl who loves Otome games, wakes up and finds herself as Remilia, the villainess of the Otome game app「The Star Maiden And The Knight of Salvation.」Emi scrambles to avert the destruction of the world and her downfall. Despite her efforts, the heroine 「The Star Maiden,」 who is also a reincarnated person, strikes at her, and Emi is accused of trying to kill the Star Maiden in addition to breaking the engagement. Instead of Emi, who lost consciousness due to the shock,「Remilia Rosa Graupner」 who was watching over her from inside, wakes up and takes revenge on the Star Maiden and her former fiancée prince who hurt the lovely「Emi.」
Remilia's Perception[]

Suddenly, the consciousness of Emi took over, severing the connection with the outside world, including Emi herself. Initially angry, as I observed Emi's actions and emotions from within, I came to understand her true feelings: that she deeply loved me and genuinely wished to "save me from a future of ruin." By sensing the "warmth of family" I had longed for through Emi's memories, I opened my heart and ultimately began to think, "If I can continue to watch over Emi's happiness, I need nothing else."
However, when Emi fell into a trap set by Pina Blanch, another reincarnator from another world, and closed her heart in shock, I regained control of my body. With the sorrow of losing Emi and the helplessness and anger of being unable to do anything but watch her degrade from within, I resolved to take revenge on Pina, who had hurt my beloved Emi and trampled on her wishes for my own childish and selfish desires.
Moreover, the targets of Remilia's revenge include all those who betrayed her, regardless of whether they were manipulated by Pina's schemes. In particular, her hatred for Pina, the main instigator, reached a point where she declared, "I won't let her die easily" and "I won't be satisfied until I inflict pain on her to the point where she wishes for death."
Her character is cunning, ruthless, and calculating like a villain, but out of her feelings for Emi, she refrains from using any despicable means to avoid breaking the image of "Remilia (Emi's Remilia) from when Emi's spirit was present." Instead, she seeks revenge through a proper method by dedicating herself to service and good deeds based on the knowledge of the real world gained from Emi's memories (game strategies, scientific technology suited to the in-world civilization) and her own schemes. To achieve this, she takes the initiative before Pina (the reincarnator), who trapped Emi, confronting the world's crisis first and collecting the trust of villagers and citizens throughout various countries and villages, ensuring that Emi receives no credit.
As mentioned earlier, her personality is utterly ruthless, utilizing anything that can be used, whether human or demon. However, regardless of her true feelings, what she is doing can be viewed as pure good deeds, resulting in unexpected fortune and connections coming back to her. Furthermore, despite boasting about "using others," perhaps due to observing Emi's behavior, she possesses the sensitivity to genuinely feel joy from the gratitude and affection received from others, and she properly engages in good deeds by extending a helping hand.
More accurately, she is quite lenient towards "things that evoke Emi's feelings," specifically towards pure-hearted, devoted, and righteous individuals. She has a bad habit of providing excessive aid to those who genuinely love "Emi's Remilia."
However, when confronted with those who would harm herself or Emi in places unseen by others, she transforms and reveals her true nature. For Emilia to show her true self to an opponent means that being merely driven to death is the better outcome; worse, it signifies being "thoroughly trampled upon in terms of human dignity, cast into a hell of endless suffering where even death is not permitted."
One of the few flaws is that Emi's "affection to make others happy" is regarded as supreme, leading her to understand but not truly feel general romantic emotions and the accompanying possessiveness towards the opposite sex.
While it is natural that Pina, the root cause of Emi closing her heart, is included, there is a tendency to overly criticize the likes of Wiliard, whose emotions have been distorted by the effects of the potion, in terms of mitigating circumstances.
Moreover, while Emi has deep affection for others as mentioned above, the fact that this affection can be somewhat excessive is largely unchanged from the original game's setting. The actions depicted towards Emi's soul after the epilogue have received mixed evaluations among readers, being seen as either positive or negative.
Additionally, while she tries to reach out to everyone, saying "Emi would surely do that," and behaves externally as "Remilia who lived as Emi," it still does not go beyond the realm of role-playing. Thus, she mercilessly punishes or destroys those involved in Wiliard's condemnation or dishonest figures like Remilia's father, which deviates from Emi's original wish for "a world where those who are hurt are as few as possible."
In the manga version, the villainous demeanor that occasionally shows through as events unfold as intended is a must-see, showcasing a perfect blend of wickedness
Emi's Perception[]
Her full name is Emi Kobayashi. In her previous life, she was a Japanese university student but passed away in a traffic accident and was reincarnated in the "Otokishi" world, inhabiting the body of Remilia.
In her previous life, she was blessed with a loving family and had a kind personality that made her deeply empathize with the tragic villains in fictional works, often shedding tears. Despite lacking the love of family and those around her, she held strong pity and sorrow for Remilia, who had followed a path of ruin, and was furious that there was no redemption scenario for her.
Now as Remilia, Emi worked tirelessly to save her from ruin, using her knowledge from her previous life and any game strategy information she could remember to avoid condemnation. Although she couldn’t change events where the lives of others were at stake, she improved her relationships with the targets before the main game began, ensuring that Remilia would be safe whenever she returned to her body. As a result, unlike the original route, she was very well-liked by the targets and those in the academy.
However, Pina (the reincarnator), who was aiming for a reverse harem route for her own selfish desires, saw Emi as nothing more than a "disruptor of the established scenario," hindering the game's progress. Through strategies using items to increase affection, Emi was falsely accused one after another and condemned as per the scenario, suffering betrayal from those she had built trust with. In the depths of despair, her mind shattered. Due to the intense shock, she lost consciousness and fell into a deep sleep. This led to the original Remilia regaining control of the body.
As a result, the relationship between Emi and Remilia reversed, and Remilia began to strive to eliminate all the humans who had betrayed her in order to create a world where Emi could safely return...
Spoiler.
Emi is one as her reaction to Remilia's canonical fate and kindness being what motivated Remilia to eventually take over control of her body by her Condemnation event and make a move to get her revenge on the reincarnated person behind Pina for Emi's sake. Not only that, Emi is just so kind and loving that she eventually helped the love interests with their own problems early on. Even after awakening, Remilia also played up this image as much as she could to others unaware of the fact that both souls are sharing a body as she feels that it's what Emi would have done.
It's revealed that the cheat item Love Potion that Pina used to win over the male love interests and the rest of the school doesn't make the target completely blind with obedience to the person who gave the love potion to them, meaning that the love interests, including Remilia's actual fiance, Willard, went along with the brainwashing caused by the love potion on their own accord in some level. The Extra stories reveal that Pina made use of the love interests' hidden insecurities about Emi's All-Loving Heroine persona and the achievements she made to ensure that everything goes well.
Pina, or rather, Rina, the soul reincarnated into Pina's body's ultimate fate at the end of the story. Remilia tells Anhel that she'd rather let Pina live... but Anhel understands the double meaning behind what Remilia truly means and thus, Rina is put into a Fate Worse than Death where she is forced to relive illusion after illusion of how she could have achieved lazy but comfortable life she had wanted, had she not been such a horrendous person who emotionally broke Emi for petty reasons while imprisoned for life and she is not allowed to beg for a Mercy Kill from anyone and has to go through every day to relive those illusions over and over again until she potentially becomes an Empty Shell. Remilia's plan to avenge Emi is to slowly and methodically replace Pina as The Chosen One. The story ends with Remilia eventually getting her revenge for Emi served and going on to have a happy life with Anhel, the demon lord.
A bonus story reveals what happens to the original Pina when Rina takes over her body. Pina is aware of everything Rina has done but she can do nothing but watch as Rina hurts everyone involved to the point of hating her own body that her soul has to be taken away to the Spirit realm to recover. Thankfully, Remilia eventually searches for the original Pina's soul with the help of the spirits and helps her to get reincarnated.

Abilities[]
"So, its alright now, Emi. I'll be the one to protect you. Just as my heart was saved by you when i was young.
I shall save "Remilia's happiness" that you held so dear, Emi."― Remilia tells to Emi while in deep sleep.
The protagonist villainess's body has two souls: Emi Kobayashi & Remilia Rosa Graupner. Because of Emi Kobayashi's knowledge of the world of 「The Star Maiden And The Knight of Salvation」 she changes everything about Remilia Rosa Graupner's future and built such a wonderful reputation as a duke's daughter. Emi used her knowledge of the game to "level up" and "train (Swordsmanship & Magic)".
Under certain conditions, Emi drinks something that can't be called a magic potion, made by mixing ingredients used in alchemy and then using magic, your proficiency in using that magic will rise by leaps and bounds. Emi struggled to find it. Until she got there, she had a hard time crushing the ingredients she had prepared and sprinkling them on herself, sprinkling them around her, and rubbing them into her magical arms.
In the story Emi was watching, once you collected training materials, your skill level would go up with a single tap. I never thought I would have to drink. They also did high-speed leveling using magic stones. A magic stone can be collected from the body of a monster, and a "magic stone" obtained by processing this. In Emi's memory, it's a bluish-purple jewel-like object that can be obtained through login bonuses and billing. If you use it in Gacha, you can get a character with the effect that "If you hold it while praying at the temple, the magic stone will disappear after a strong glow, and you will get instructions for new companions." Other than that... it was called "split" on the bulletin board, but when it was consumed, the number of possible actions called stamina was restored to the maximum value.
Because this is the real world, it is used in such a way that "If you break (break) it while it is in contact with your body, your magic, and physical strength will recover". It was like in the story that it could recover to the maximum uniformly, and although there was a difference in the amount of recovery depending on the size, it was generally popular. It is also common to hold it to offer prayers to the gods. In practice, however, it is very rare to receive a warning.
As the daughter of a duke, she spent all of her free money on magic crystals and training materials, while Emi spent it on training magic and improving herself. Emi, who showed off her magical talent, is now able to be heard by my parents as "an even more capable piece" from the story, and Claude's father, the viscount, is the owner of the territory. While Remilia watches how Emi changes and builds a wonderful reputation.
The true Remilia is perfectly content to watch Emi's live out a life of happiness for both their sake. However, when Pina undoes all that work and Emi is left comatose from heartbreak, the soul of Remilia takes control back and decides to utilize Emi's foreknowledge of game events to completely and utterly destroy Pina in retribution... Because the true Remilia personality is more cunning and ruthless, she can do what Emi can't do. Because of watching every do of Emi's training, she has access to Emi's memory. Remilia ultimately follows a slow and careful plan to get her revenge on the reincarnated Pina for completely breaking Emi, and the game's love interests for betraying her, when she takes back possession of Remilia's body.
- Because of that the true Remilia has access to magic, swordsmanship, and a familiar (black spider). These Black Spiders can be used for surveillance and able to used magic to inflict negative effect to the people creating illusion of their greatest fear in their dreams.
- She has the ring that raised her stats and the Sacred armor of the gods of fire that was given to her by the holy princess of dwarves city. The armor itself can grant the user to slay the gods, in such boosting the stats of the user and indestructible defense to the user.
- Remilia has the protection of fire from the holy princess that purification (nullify negative effect) to the user. After conquering the creator god of heaven and saving the Goddess of Purification, she bestows a pink rose, which serves as a catalyst for the goddess of purification, allowing Remilia to summon her when she needs her and the Goddess of Purification gave a blessing to Remilia, because of this she has access divinity of the goddess.
